medicine for persistent acne
Hi!I had been prescribed Kalibromatum 30, Kali Mur 6x & Silicea for acne and have been taking these medicines at different intervals for the last 2 and a half months. I just wanted to consult if I should be taking these medicines together or not? Also if there are any side effects to these medicines?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is advised to take single medicine at a time; however, doctors do prescribe many medicines at a time.
There may be proving (i.e. medicine itself start producing symptoms) if taken for a long period, but these symptoms go away with discontinuation of medicine though some times may persist for long period of time.

My acne hasn't been cured yet, altholugh i have been taking these medicines regularly for the last 2 and a half months. I have been suffering from acne since the age of fifteen. I have taken several oral & topical medicines for it including antibiotics, accutane, benzoyl peroxide, tretimoim etc but still the acne persists. It was cured for a few years but since the age of 23 it has persisted and despite taking several medicines (even accutane) it hasnt been cured. One of the doctors prescribed me tests to diagnose polycystic ovaries that i got done and the ultrasound implied that i might have borderline PCOS. I was prescribed diance 35 for it but i never took it because i didnt want to disturb my holrmonal balance and also one of the side effects of the medicine included hair loss and I'm too scared of losing anymore hair because accutane alone caused me a lot of hair fall. Moreover, ive never skipped my periods so I didnt think I should take these pills.
After being fed up of all these medicines i decided to go towards homeopathic treatment and i was prescribed Kali bromatum 30, Kali Muriaticum 6x and silicea 6 x by a doctor. So now i have been taking these medicines and i have noticed that somehow my acne breakouts have become less severe. Also i noticed that when I was controlling my diet and i was avoiding sugar, fried stuff etc i wasnt getting acne breakouts.
I just wanted to know how lo9ng will it take for my acne to be completely cured and what should be the dosage of medicines(time i.e. when to take and no. of pills) for maximum effectiveness. Thank you.

We cannot be sure about how long it will take to cure your acne with these or any homeopathic medicine because acne are mainly related to hormonal imbalance.
Regarding dose, you should give a break when you see any worsening or improving of symptoms and should restart when things seems to be settled.
New pattern/symptoms would suggest change in medication.
Hopefully, this will help you understand homeopathy.
