This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have been trying to grow taller for several years now, trying everything from pills, meditation, stretching and exercise, diet and all. I feel very frustrated, angry and sad/depressed about this, as all my sisters are taller than me too.
Sometimes I think I´ve given up, but I don´t want to give up my life and my dream of being taller.
An indian naturopath suggested baryta carb to me, but wanted me to get it prescribed from a homeopath. Please help me.
Sincerely,
Annamia

Dear Annamia,I wanted to know your present height and weight also your age, also dont be obstinate on this issue there are so many shot people who mend the things there way,you have so many examples in the world, latest is MAADONA where tall people have always upper hand.ITS not physique but your mind that takes you to heights
you can always beat people with mind and not with your height, height is only the 1st appearence once you start talking it is not your height but your thoughts that shows your height...dont chase the looks they are deceptive, you will always be fooled if you go after looks.

I have 'done it all', everything from meditation, visualization, taking supplements, done stretching exercises, sleeping with weights, sprinting... well you see. I have been doing this for like 6 years or so.
Please give me a prescription that I can try, I want to be sure that I buy the right concentration. It means everything to me.

Ok. Below are my answers. Please help me.
Patient ID: Annamia Sex: Female Age: 22
Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.
1. Describe your main suffering?
Feeling short, need to be taller (I want to be as tall as my taller younger sisters, as well as being able to be a model)
My skin, I have acne on face and back. My skin is dry and very itchy, scalp eczema, dermatits around eyes, hairloss
2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
very Itchy scalp, seborré, eczema, acne, sometimes bulimia and lower-backpain, hairloss.
3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
Sad, angry, upset, nervous, very stressed out
4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
I am not sure actually, but I feel really insane, I can sit/lie for hours and just scratch my head, arms and back. It´s insane really, but I have trouble admitting it. I have a deep need to feel in control.
It´s hard for me to let go, I get worried easily.
5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
I was anorexic when I was 15-16 years old. I still have issues with food and can have bulimic behaviour when I´m stressed. I was deeply upset that I stopped growing because of my disease, I keep on thinking that I was meant to be taller if it wasn´t for the anorexia. A doctor told me I would probably have grown more if I didn´t get anorexia. I deeply blame myself.
6. Which time of the day you are worst?
Anytime, but especially at night, afternoons. I can have hard times falling asleep, While eating meals with my family (i can´t stand it). I almost get panic attacks during nights and if I´m alone for
a longer time. I can´t get out of my head.
7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
Being around my mother, sisters and sometimes my father. I feel short and unimportant, like they try to be better, more beautiful, 'looking down at me', dominating me.
I feel misunderstood, I want to be an artist, but I have no support from my parents.
8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
I can feel better when I´m outside in fresh air.
Right before my period I always get mood-swings, I get angry/upset for nothing and/or depressed, feeling I want to die, that it´s hopeless.
9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
Cold weather, neither humid nor dry, but I guess I prefer dry weather over humid.
10.Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
I am very changeable, I can swift from being happy to depressed just like that. I sort of suspect I have borderline or something. When I am in a good mood I feel worried/stressed about when it will change, because when it does, I get so sad/depressed that it scares me and I really suffer from it.
- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
Moody, light headache.
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
No, mostly not, I am very secretive and want to be left alone.
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
Yes, very.
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
I tend to talk to myself, slightly bending forward in a tense position, but I mostly scratch my scalp until it bleeds.
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
Mostly, I don´t have the best feelings around them, (see above) I get very stressed out while eating together, it makes me overeat often.
11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
My biggest fear is to get fat again, then I think I´ll die or something.
Being left alone, feeling I cannot control my situation.
12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
I crave salt.
I crave green salads if I am in good mood.
My aversions are pork, heavy red meat, fatty foods.
I sometimes binge on ice-cream and cookies.
13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Normal to excessive
14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Normal to excessive - psychological hunger.
15. Is there any kind of food which your body cant stand?
Heavy red meat, makes me feel depressed, heavy and slow.
16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? Normal to excessive I guess, I exercise a lot.
17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
In general loose, strong smell. I easily get gas.
18.How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
I can sleep well when I manage to fall asleep, but I have been suffering from sleeplessness for a couple of months now. I can´t turn my mind off things. I sleep on the side.
19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
Yes.
20.What peculiar or strange sensation do you have in any part of your body at times? Do you sometimes feel as if .. in some part of the body?
In my scalp it can be as if bugs are creeping around - the itching is driving me crazy sometimes. I can promise myself I will stop doing it, but in my weak moments I start again. I really detest myself for this.
21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
Cortisone, liquid for scalp, creams for skin.
22. What major diseases are running in your family?
None.
23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
I am 5´8, regular figure, pretty athletic, nordic, very light skin that gets easily reddish/irrtated and dry on body, acne in face, thin blonde hair, bluegreen eyes, regular features in face.
