Weird Homeopsthic Side Effects?!?!

Food Preferences: Vegeterian
I have been suffering from dandruff for over 7 years. It is dry, flaky and itchy. I lose hair when i itch. I tried Sulphur 6c for one week to cure it. Dandruff was comletely gone , but i realized i get severe headaches due to sulphur. Can anyone, please tell me why sulphur caused headaches and please suggest me another remedy to cure it.
Any help, would be greatly appreciated.
