allergic to sulfur

I'm allergic to sulfur... would that make me allergic to the remedy as well?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
what are the symptoms which surface due to the allergy?

swollen eyes and closed throat, i believe... anaphalaxys(sp?).

it's a childhood ailment i've had since... childhood, actually.
hey, perhaps it has even gone away by now, but if you've ever seen anaphalaxys, you'll know it's not to be teased.

but i've worn a medic alert bracelet for it my whole life in case someone attempts to use 'sulpha' (a sulfur based medication) on me, as it was the agent wherein the allergy was first seen. i almost died.

i've had many small allergies to foods (usually very mild anaphalactic responses: weazy throat, hives, irritability, etc) but i usually get over them by continuing to digest small amounts of the fruit (fruits and fruit veg, like certain squashes, red apples, eggplant, etc) over a long period of time, no big deal.

i also am allergic to yellow hornet/yellow jacket/wasp venom, but have taken immunotherapy to gain an immunity to it, and carry an epipen.

but i wouldn't like to test wasps or sulfur without a hospital team present...
my heart rate drops just thinking about it.

Hello derangenoid

It's possible that you're sensitive to homeopathic remedy sulphur given your allergic response to sulphur in crude. But the response won't be same as you're having with crude material.

Yes beyond 12c, the remedy doesn't have any physical molecule, only therapeutic quality remain.

But i'll have to caution you, that since you're already sensitive to remedies, and you have just taken calc. carb, taking sulphur immediately won't be wise as sulphur is not a good follower of calc. carb.

nope, wasn't planning on administering anything for a good period of time yet, and was really just curious about it. i see it's a common remedy, but i also know that these dilutions get to that non-present point. i'm new to all of this, and i'm a bit fascinated.

i haven not listed allergies in any of my profiles when investigating remedies thus far, but realized when replying to rishimba that it's actually quite a factor in my life... funny how you forget about these things.

allergies, remedies, kittens... just a sensitive guy :)
