Little boy with Autism type illness, please help

Can any homeopaths or parents suggest remedies for my little boy diagnosed autistic?

Dalton is 2 1/2 years old, does not flap or do most of the typical autistic behaviors. He has a very short attention span though, will not look when others call his name (but usually will for me), but he uses only a couple of words. He understands what I tell him, and he definately is alert. He does line up cars and tends to get very absorbed in movies, and he has sensory issues with food textures...he is very picky. He is very affectionate, and seems to lavish attention on my head for some reason. He hugs my head to his chest, pats my forehead. He also sometimes pats his own head.

He has very light smooth skin, a button nose, long lashes with big blue eyes and a somewhat heart shaped face. He is mostly Swedish and German in descent.

I am hoping that someone reads this and can suggest anything I can do to help him with homeopathic remedies. I do not have a practitioner in my area, so I appreciate any help I can get online. Thank you in advance from my baby and me.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi nyxpooka,

Please talk in more detail about his behaviour, likes/dislikes, fears, anger, and any food cravings/aversions.

Diseases that run in the family must also be mentioned.

Also, any event in his or mother's life which had a profound influence, (both as a baby, and in mother's womb), should be mentioned.

Also, talk about general things that make him feel good, and things that aggravate him.

For foods, Dalton loves pizza with almost any topping, biscuits and gravy for breakfast, french fries, chicken nuggets and adores peanutbutter and honey sandwiches. His food aversions are most raw or lightly cooked fruit, unless pureed inside a waffle or breakfast strudel. He enjoys milk, but not cold milk. But he will take a popsicle at times. Most cold foods, like if I managed to get a cold piece of cheese in his mouth, he would grab it out and throw it. He doesnt like regular fruit juice either. Its hard to tell what aversions he has other than that, because he wont try anything new.

Dalton is not afraid of much, but he hates when people start singing near him especially in a group. He seems to like regular music, and if the singing is on TV or radio, he doesnt mind it. He was very afraid of that commercial of Ozzy Osborne with red eyes, though.

He is a very happy child, he doesnt get angry very much. His disposition is generally cheerful. Kids can take his toys and he just looks at them a little sad. He does get mad if we take them away though. He is empathetic, and will knit his brow on certain parts of the old Benji movies, like when the man is mean to the dogs.

Diabetes and peripheral neuropathy run in his fathers family. My family has multiple sclerosis, peripheral neuropathy, and his grandmother had parkinsons.

My pregnancy was very easy, I has no morning sickness or any other problems. He was an unexpected pregnancy when I was 36 years old. His father was 43. I had a difficult birth, it was 12 hours 3 hours hard pushing and they used an extractor to remove him. His collarbone was broken because he was 9 lbs 5 oz. at birth. He had jaundice early, but it was medium-high when we got a doc to intervene with lights. He later had croup at about 6 months old, and he was hospitalized for it. He is big, and his size has been over the 100th or larger percentile of growth in all areas almost constantly.

He loves to be held and carried, he can be a bit lazy about using his own legs at times. He often pats one side of his forehead or mine, on his, its always on the same side. If I pat him on the head, he doesnt tolerate it very long though. Sometimes I wonder if he is trying to tell me that it bothers him, but he doesnt seem to be in pain. He loves to run around, especially after a bath.

Please let me know if there is anything else specific I can tell you. Thank you so much.

Okay, good.. so please follow this prescription to the letter..you can buy this remedy at health food stores like whole foods...

Three doses of Phosphorus 30c to be taken for ONE single day ONLY as described below.

Dissolve 2 pellets of PHOS 30c in a 250 ml spring water bottle. If leave the pellets in water for 20 mins, they will melt. You can shake it gently after they have dissolved.

Give a teaspoon from this bottle using a disposable spoon 3 times, spaced by 45 minutes. This is to be done for one day ONLY. From next day, no more doses.

Let me know in 10 days after these 3 doses.

Restrictions:

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell on the day and 3 days following the remedy administration. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

Thank you, Sameer. I will pick up the phosphorus tomorrow and give it to my son. I will let you know how it works out. Thanks again very much from all of us.

Hi Sameer,

I gave the phosphorus remedy as indicated. He is now far more vocal, but mostly whining and yelling in loud protest when he doesnt get his way or is frustrated (he often feels this way).

I did notice that he seems to pay more attention to his fingers since the phosphorus, and I have seen him feeling textures on different fabrics. This is something he doesnt do. It isnt frequent, but I never saw him do that.

His speech is still very limited, a few single words. He is still grabbing my hand and now whining and yelling to get me to get him what he wants. He has also been more clumsy.

Socially, Dalton is still somewhat affectionate but not as much as before. He is slightly less sympathetic than before also.

Dalton has become more obstinant and will often resist simple requests. He is often quite uncooperative.

He still sleeps a lot and will drop to sleep during meals and often quite unexpectedly (today I he was laying down as I tied his shoes and when I looked up he was sleeping).

He had a fever for 2 days with no apparent reason. Duting that time he slept even more than usual, so it was an excessive amount. He did not have an ear infection, nor did he show any other reason for the fever other than he did not want to eat much and was more sleepy.

Shortly before his treatment I noticed that he had a crop of small hard bumps on his skin. He has one on his thigh, and several on one arm.

He also has been presenting nosebleeds since the treatment. It is dry in the house, but it has never been a problem before.

Thank you for your kind help.

And, just to make sure, you gave him the doses for 1 day only, right ?

sameervermani last decade
Yes, I gave the remedy to him for just one day, exactly as directed.

Hi Kirsten,

Please procure Carcinosin 30c and 200c from Helios UK. The link is below.
Oral liquid 5 ml should be fine.

Talk to me when you have the remedies with you.

Dear Sameer,

I have procured the carcinosin. How do I use it? I apologize for the delay, I was a bit hesitant at first to try it because of the nature of the remedy, but I have changed my mind. My son has become more unruly, running away in stores and such. And he is now throwing things, and mostly it seems that he is enjoying the loud noise. He sometimes will hit me and kick animals now. The verbal results from the phosphorus continued and he was able to learn and say his abcs, 123s, basic shapes and colors. However, a biomedical practitioner recommended high dose vitamin A and he has actually become more behaviourally difficult since that treatment, much poorer attention on subjects and is harder to teach again, and has stopped being willing to say his letters and numbers again. My little boy has extreme fear of anything medical, including people who look like nurses and is often fearful of women in general, elevators and light colored rooms with benches in them (even in a non-medical setting, it just has to look like an exam room and he gets extremely upset). His oral oversensitivity and complete unwillingness to brush teeth continue, as does his unwillingness to try any new foods. His skin is still very fair, but he does not sunburn very easily as I do, but he has one dark level mole on his hip and has now developed a few more small moles on his upper arm (I assume it is inherited from me, I have many many moles of this type). He enjoys playing in the water and will lay down in sand and play with cars in it. He enjoys tickling and will actually ask to be tickled, he will say that word and bring your hand to his neck or upper chest to tickle him.

As I said, he has slipped back somewhat from the last treatment you suggested. From now on, I will now only follow homeopathic treatments because it had notable effects. Thank you in advance for instructions to use the carsinosin. Thank you for all your help....

Dear Sameer,

We have had some good luck with the carcinosin. Since the treatment, Dalton has been saying many new words and will now connect some words together. His disposition is less difficult, he is more cooperative than before is better when walking with us in stores and public places. He has started brushing his teeth with help from a youtube video. He is an exceedingly visual learner. He has been praised by his teachers for being able to transition from one activity to another with less problem than any of the other autistic children they have worked with).

Problems now are: echolalia (repeating one phrase over and over), continually seeking to play in and with water, will take very few requests from parents (will sometimes bring his toothbrush when asked, but not very consistent). He will usually come to me when I call him, but I often have to ask many times. He does not like toilet training, and really dislikes the cloth underpants, but when he has them on, he will usually indicate when he needs to urinate (only). He seems to be drawn to babies, and associates himself with an older baby. He enjoys dancing and will now sometimes sing.

Continuing problems include extremely selective eating and unwillingness to try new foods, and dislike of having hair cut or washed. Does not like body washed with a soft washcloth, either. Still interested in other children and especially babies, but seems uncertain how to play with them. He will watch them play though.

Do you have any further suggestions for my little boy? We would like to continue his growth. Thank you kindly for your help.

Sincerely,

Kirsten, Van and Dalton

Very nice Kirsten.

When were the Carc doses given ?

sameervermani last decade
There was some problem getting the remedy shipped, so I finally got it in the first week of October and gave it to my son. I then observed him for changes and some happened almost right away. He is also receiving speech/behavioral therapy and schooling, so that is probably having some effect also. But the attentiveness and cooperation was almost immediately improved. Before he would just run away and not even look back. He now will stay at a pretty close distance and check on us to see where we are. He is smiling and very happy most of the time.

Now if we could help him to understand things he needs to do. He has difficulty following any kind of process, such as dressing himself or doing projects at school. He often gets words confused, and will say 'Done' instead of 'More' if he wants more food.

He can definately take off his clothing, and really doesnt want to wear it at all. He kicks off blankets and cold does not bother him at all. He seems to feel warm all the time. He is a sweaty sleeper.

HI Krsten,

We have not yet given him the 200c have we ?

Sameer

sameervermani last decade
No, we have not given that dose. Should I do that in the same method as last time?

nyxpooka last decade
I think you can give 3 doses of 200c in the same manner, but do it at 2 hours gap not 45 minutes

Please report back in 10 days. It's important that you stay in touch for ideal treatment.

Good luck

Ok, I will be better about keeping in touch now.

My mother passed away in October, and my fathers chronic leukemia blood levels rose recently, so meeting all our family responsibilities have been difficult. I apologize. I will start the dozes today. Thank you again for all your help.

Sincerely,

Kirsten

Just 1 day of dosing is to be done.

sameervermani last decade
Some changes with new dose. Dalton has been more distant and not answering as much. He also is doing more 'stimming' movements with his head and body. Language is still good and quite clear, but still the same amount of words. Any ideas, Sameer?

Thank you.

Kirsten

Hi Kirsten,

This is an initial aggravation, will pass in a week and should be followed by improvements.

Please keep on waiting.

sameervermani last decade
Ok, the 'stimmy' movements are down again, and now what I notice is that I am having trouble getting him to get him to look at me when I say his name. I will continue to watch and wait...

Hi Kirsten,

It will take 2 weeks for the remedy to develop response fully.
