Runny nose has continued, at night
Very fuzzy feeling in the head
Not an overwhelming headache
Funny fuzzy feeling
This cough that suddenly occurs, almost a comedy, except it is serious
Suddenly will have to cough, and I must stand up, I feel better when I stand
Cough for 30 seconds, and it stops
Comes from the chest


I must stand up, so I can deal with the cough
Feels much better
The air passages, the feeling of breathing
This cough suddenly happens, without warning, it just happens (hands roll outwards)
And immediately I sense I should stand up, so I can allow myself to breathe through the coughing
I feel better, as though I am breathing
One spluttering cough, or two

If you don’t stand?

I can’t breathe
My breath is being cut off

Cut off?

The cough takes over, from my breathing
So I am not breathing, I am coughing
I am not getting any air in to me
It will be better to stand up, straight away
You will see me stand up! Straight away!
I feel safer, the cough will be shorter

What would be unsafe?

Stopping breathing
I would be gasping for breath
Fear I would stop breathing
Without warning, the cough comes
It explodes (hand rolls out)
It is very strong
I cough, and in that moment I feel like I am gasping for breath, I can’t breathe
So I stand up (hand moves up), that feels better
Forceful
No control, forces itself upon me
It is a surprise to me

The cough is expelling air from my lungs (hands move outwards)
The sense is the air is going the other way so I am running out of air, I want to draw it in but the cough stops me
It is a fear
Just by taking action I feel better, I am doing something


Sensation in the case is Sudden pressure that moves from inside to the outside, an outshooting or outward pressure. There are associated feelings of Oppression and Suffocation, gasping for air. This suggests the Rosaceae family.


Words like Surprise, Sudden, Fear, Explode, Without warning, all suggest the Acute Miasm. Hydrocyanic acid lies at the intersection of the Acute miasm and the Rosaceae family.
