The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Dr. Sameer, please help my daughter find her constitution and stabilize. Page 4 of 5

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I do not see Ars or Lyc here.

Puls might be a possibility.

Ars, I was thinking of because she is timid and reserved and has constant nasal and throat mucus and congestion. She also has some fears. Lycopodium, I htought of because of absentminded. What do you think about Phos also?

j.k.usa last decade
This is not how you pick remedies. Keeping Phos at hand is ok.

Hi Sameer,

I know you stress mentals when choosing remedies. This is why I thought Ars was a good match. But I am just an amateur and I hope you don't mind me asking. I have seen you cure many cases on this forum and I am very hopeful. Did you want me to answer more questions to get a better mental picture for her. I did get the remedies from the store as you suggested. Also I am worried about her terrible sinus and throat congestion. This comes every 2 months. Should we treat this acutely before proceeding. This is really frustrating. It was so bad yesterday, her father made me take her to the doctor's and of course the MD gave her Antibiotics and a puffer. I really don't want to use it but she is losing paitence and so is her father. Please guide with your expertise.

Thanks for your time and patience.

Also, I can't stress enough that when given directions to do something, she rarely asks the questions why. She just follows the instructions blindly. This becomes a problem when she sometimes misinterprets the instructions and doesn't realize that this doesn't make sense and is a waste of time. How can I get her to think on her own and out of the box. Her mind is verry foggy I sense. When going out on a day trip to the water park for example, I have to remind her of the things to take, she cannot picture what she will need in her mind. Very occasionaly she does..but I have seen this rarely. I don't see curiosity in her. May be because of her allergies and past experiences, she is afraid to be creative and try new things, I don't know. She was like this as a child.

Hi,

I don't know if you've read my recent posts or not. Some info contains relevant info about her (atleast I think so) Please clarify and I hope I didn't offend you by asking questions about the alternatives, I just was thinking out loud. I sincerely hope you don't mind. I just need to know how to proceed . Should she be treated acutely for congestion or to proceed with Nat Mur 30 or something else and if so can you please give the details how to do it. Thanks Kindly and God Bless.

She also has a wart on right knee.

Again sorry, if I have upset you. Please advise.

Please describe her throat symptoms in detail.

sameervermani last decade
She has ++++mucus/congestion (mostly thick and white). It was slightly yellow 5 days back, not anymore. she sounds stuffy in the nose. Her voice also sounds hoarse, especaially at night.
This throat condition comes every 6-8 weeks and lasts for a month or more. Basically, it has become a chronic situation. Her forgetfulness is increasing and she definitely needs help to think on her own or out of the box or basically apply common sense. She gets excellent grades at school, but don't know why she misses the obvious at times. Her feet sweat like anything in the morning after a night's sleep. she is not the best sleeper and sometimes gets up every couple of hours and has trouble falling asleep.

I've sort of diverged. Anything specific you were looking for with regards to the throat?

Thanks so much once again.

Can we say that she is very dependent on you ?

Also, does she need a lot of affection ? Does she return affection as well ?

Does she show any desire to be perfect ?

How easily does she make friends ?

sameervermani last decade
Hi

Thanks for the questions,

Can we say that she is very dependent on you ?
She is somewhat dependent on me. The school work she handles completely on her own. She asks questions every now and then when she doesn't understand, however she takes part in extra activities and follows through with her school work on her own. She will not open the fridge and say I want to eat this. Part of the reason is because of the food allergies. She is very dependent on meals. She usually eats what I make or give. She doesn't like fruits except oranges/clementines or strawberries and cherries.

Also, does she need a lot of affection ? Does she return affection as well ?
She likes attention and affection but does not need a lot of it. On the weekend mornings, she sometimes likes a hug from her siblings or parents while still in bed. When returning affection, she does it appropriately. Sometimes when saying 'bye' just on our way to work, she says it too many times. She says it while we put on our shoes and even after we reply 'bye' she shouts it once more while leaving. She's overall just a nice person and doesn't want to hurt anyone. But when it comes to being touchy/feely or even a hugging, it doesn't come naturally to her. She is obedient. She is hurt when someone hurts her character or befriends her. She cries privately usually and silently. She sometimes cries when I tell her about the things she needs to improve upon like the 'absentmindedness'. She cries though mostly when I give her a hug after our chat.

Hope this helps

Thank you so much

Does she have any desire to be perfect ?
Tricky question. She tries to be close to perfect in her school work but when people are coming over, she never does her bed perfectly. It always has creases...and to me, when you're trying to impress someone or even trying to be perfect, you should try to remove the creases from the bed. I would have to say she likes things nice and pretty but is not so 'anal' about being perfect or doesn't know how to arrange things to make them look nice.

How easily does she make friends ?
She makes them pretty easily. She's nice, polite, loyal dresses well and is fairly well approachable. She is never the leader of the group though but she does have a few good friends.

Go ahead with the Natrum Mur doses.

sameervermani last decade
Can you please clarify how to give them exactly . Also is night ok again?

j.k.usa last decade
Night is ok.

Same method as Silicea doses.

Hi Dr,

I gave her Natrum mur 30c, 2 pellets dissolved in 250ml of spring water. I gave her one dose at 9:30pm, 10pm and 10:30pm. So far not much change but the profile description matches her quite a bit, so keeping my fingers crossed. She and I bothe are really frustated with post nasal drip which is creating the mucus. I took her to allopathic doc and the doc gave her steroid nasal spray. She used it last week, so we had to wait till we tried nat. mur. Just gave it to her few days ago.

What mentals, should I watch for.

Thanks again for all your guidance.

Hi Sameer,

Here are the positives:
she is more energetic the past few days, although she slept till 11 today and she has less mucus in her throat. Don't know if this is from the nasal spray or the natrum mur.

The negatives is that she has tiny little dots developed underneath her eyes and her chin.

What is our next step.
A few things to note about her. We were watching a movie yesterday and I started crying during the emotional parts. I don't think she has ever cried while watching a movie. She gets scared and laughs when watching but never cries or maybe only once/twice. Also she has developed some warts on her feet and she has the one from before on her knee.

Thanks
J

Well, better energy levels, lessening of mucus along with eruptions of tiny little dots is perfect.

Please continue to wait and update me when it has been 2 weeks from the Nat-m dose.

sameervermani last decade
Hi Mr. Sameer

It's been two weeks since the Nat-mur dose. Overall she is okay, but the dots did look bad and bother her quite a bit. They were underneath her eyes and on her eyelids. Her wart on her knee is also getting bigger and I think I mentioned before that she has a wart on the sole of her feet also.

A few things about her. As a baby, after vaccinations, she used to get very high fevers, about 104-5'C. I think she must have some fungal infection or parasite infection to be presenting these symptoms, what do you think. She had a headache yesterday after her first day of school. I'm assuming the stress and also it was a bit hot. She does not like the heat or too much sun. She still sweats quite a bit from hands and feet. She has anticipatory anxiety at times. She lately has been letting out dry hollow coughs almost croupy like.

Hope this helps in next step.

Thanks as always for your time and guidance.

Please procure natrum mur 200c, and talk to me in 1 week.

sameervermani last decade
got the natrum mur. What is the next step?

I have some health problems too, can I start a new thread for me.

Thanks
J

Please wait till this Friday and update at that time.

Hi Dr. Sameer,
Didn't get a chance to post on the weekend. What is the next step. Please provide the details. The spots went away after a week. She is tired and but more organized and in routine with school.

She has not been going to toilet properly. She feels like she has not emptied well and sits for an hour in the bathroom sometimes.

I hope the past notes helped you . Let me know if you need to know anything else. Like I said I'm lousy at writing detailed notes.

Also, is it possible to please help me as well?

Thanks so much

j.k.usa last decade
You can give the Nat-m 200c dose on the coming weekend.

Dissolve 2 pellets in 250 ml water, and give a teaspoon from there ONCE.

Report in 3 weeks after that.

sameervermani last decade
Is it possible for me to start a new thread? I've been feeling very tired and anxious lately . I have low iron and chronic sinus congestion. Looking forward to hearing from you
Thanks

j.k.usa last decade
Hi Dr.

I gave her Natrum Mur 200c last Sunday. So far no change. Could it be that we waited too long between 30c and 200c doses that the effect of Natrum Mur 30 wore off? Thank you as always for your support and guidance.

And do you have time for my case. If you say you're busy or don't answer, I'll take that as a no and won't bug you again. Sorry for trouble.

Thanks

j.k.usa last decade
Its just been 2 days from the Nat-m dose, as I said wait for 3 weeks, and then we will know.

Also, you can start a new thread for yourself.

sameervermani last decade
Hi, it's been a couple of days and no real difference. The dots under the eyes and around the eyelids are more intense. Any reason for this. Still observing. Hypothetically speaking, what would the result be if we had waited too long after the Natrum Mur 30 dose to give 200. At any point, do you ever repeat a med at the same dose again if the time has been too long. How do you know 'what and when' and even 'if' you need to repeat it. This is just for my own learning and curiosity.

Thanks kindly
