Post EVL Ulcer Bleed

Cirrhosis with Portal Hypertension
Oesophageal Varices Small Fundal Vx
Diabetes Mellitus
HISTORY AND CLINICAL FINDINGS
51 year old lady admitted with C/O haematemisis of 2 episodes on 21-07-2008 No H/O fever, chest pain. She is known to have chronic liver disease since a year, Cirrhosis with portal hypertension,oesophageal varices, Diabetes Mellitus on diet control. She underwent an EVL a week back.
O/E: BP 120/70 mmHg, Patient conscious, follows requests
RS: Chest- clear, CVS- S1 S2, Abdomen soft, tenderness (+)
Locomotor-moves all limbs, CNS- No focal neurological deficits.
COURSE IN THE HOSPITAL
She underwent endoscopy which had features suggestive of Multiple post EVL ulcers,Fundus varices. No activebleeding was found. She had one episode of bleed during her stay. OGD and sclerotherapy was done
