The ABC Homeopathy Forum
A question Page 2 of 5
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
John Stanton:
"it is not homoeopathy --when remedy has no similarity to existing symptomology---"
I'm not sure of what you're trying to say here. It reads to me as "If the homeopathic medicine does harm it must not be homeopathic." Is that what you are trying to say?
John Stanton:
"i say that the time frame in which you place the actually killing --needs to be dtermined....if no time is placed upon --then YES incorrect prescribing can have negative effect--and yes even to death---but the subtlety is often ignored and not given credit to the incorrect prescribing of dynamic medicines (homoeopathic to case or otherwise)"
I'm not sure how one could miss the "subtlety" of a death. Please explain what you mean?
I'll be honest here and say that your post was riddled with non-sequiturs. It didn't make much sense. Did you read my posts thoroughly? Perhaps we have misunderstood each other.
As for the materia medica, I'm not sure why you want me to look up diseases there. I'm not looking for a treatment, as I have stated previously.
Are there clinical trials? I was under the impression there were not. Were the findings published in a peer-reviewed journal? I can look them up at the library if they were.
Thanks!

ENOUGH! you read into it any way you wish...i did not recommend reading materia medica for any other reason but to guide you to source of homoeopathic remedy information---time for you to educate yourself--or NOT.

Orume, There is no overdose possible with the way Homeopathy is manufactured. Children have gotton into kits and ate a bunch of this and that remedy with no ill effects.
Animals and babies have no idea of medicine, yet they get well according to their symptoms.
This proves it is not placebo.
Homeopathy is 200 years old and has been proven over the years, but you are losing sleep about believing another's reports on it? You need more than we can give, because you have already decided. Sabra

Orume !
Many went into the quest for knowledge of homeoapthy with the same kind of skepticism as you have ! .....Ended up singing the glory of homeopathy.
Many allopaths converted themselves to the ways of homeopathy.
It is not a quest for knowledge....it is a life-long goal of achieving good health.
Happy chasing !!!

John Stanton, if offense was not meant, then you should not have been so rude.
Sabra: "You need more than we can give, because you have already decided."
I haven't already decided. I'm still learning about it. But it doesn't make sense. Can you see where my frustration is?
I'm not losing sleep about reports. I just want to know where the journal articles are, if there've been clinical trials. Can you tell me where I can find these peer-reviewed articles so I can read them myself and see the proof that it works?
Sabra: "This proves it is not placebo."
No it doesn't. What you said had nothing to do with disproving a placebo effect. Can't animals and babies respond to adults? Wouldn't they respond to your behaviour, and take unconscious cues that they can respond to?
Pankaj: What is an "allopath?"
Sabra: "You need more than we can give, because you have already decided."

OK, I looked up "allopath." Are you using that word to mean real doctors? If you are, I think perhaps you're using that word incorrectly, or really oversimplifying what real doctors do.

Orume !
Now let me ask you a few general questions.
first one:
So you don't let alchohol into the house because of beliefs. But allopathic meds have alchol too. Are you saying you don't take allopathic drugs.
Other questions are going to follow.

Have you seen the list of banned drugs of allopathy that are being sold freely in the third world countries....by the pharmaceutical MNCs.
Drugs like Nimuslide.....

♡ PANKAJ VARMA 2 decades ago
I think you're mistaken, Pankaj. Most medicine has no alcohol in it, and you can easily get medicines like cough syrup without alcohol. There are many belief systems that teach against using alcohol, so it's rather easy to avoid it.
I have never had a problem avoiding alcohol.
No, I haven't seen any list of banned drugs that are being sold in the third world. Can you post a link?
Why haven't the third world countries banned them as well? What were they banned for? Have other governments looked into them? If they have, what were their findings?
I found some information on Nimesulide, but my curiosity is in why the Indian government would OK it for use. The UK and USA did not. Perhaps the Indian government is not as critical as the UK or USA are.
Honestly, if other questions to me will follow, perhaps you can start answering mine. Are there any peer-reviewed studies on homeopathic products? If so, where are they? If not, how can you know if it works or if it's placebo?
If the active ingredient is some type of "energy," how come you cannot overdose? If it causes a change in the body, then it stands to reason that too much will cause too much change in the body. The idea that it cannot possibly kill or harm someone is ludicrous, unless it sincerely does nothing in the first place.
Why does no one address these questions? Nothing I have found here or elsewhere can answer these.
Surely experienced practitioners as yourselves can answer them.

plain and simple "or-u-me"
you talk a fool's talk...
if you not a fool, then slow it down and start with one question and proceed from there--if truly need answers then relax---homoeopathy is a true healing science---yet if just here for malicious reasons--then carry on as you have been...
lachesis ---read of this remedy--may be the poison you are looking for...

I am doing a lot of work here for which I am receiving positive acknowledgements from people.
I do not wish to waste time with you on hypothetical questions....as it is a great distraction for the others who are waiting for a response from me.
Initially, I mistook you for one who needed genuine help.
If you think you are a person of scientific background.....I am no less.
I have a University degree in Electronics Engineering.
Yet, no one can doubt my faith in the efficacy of homeopathy.
There are other places where you can try your debating skills or sharpen your poisioning skills.
Wish you "the best" in your endeavours.

John Stanton-- Calling people names is against forum rules.
OK, I'll slow the questions down. How about you answer the ones I've already asked then? For someone with so much knowledge on this "science," you haven't answered one question.
Pankaj Varma, you said:
"Many went into the quest for knowledge of homeoapthy with the same kind of skepticism as you have ! .....Ended up singing the glory of homeopathy.
Many allopaths converted themselves to the ways of homeopathy."
and
"Yet, no one can doubt my faith in the efficacy of homeopathy."
Is this homeopathy a religion? You talk like it is, using words like "conversion" and "faith."
I don't want to have faith in a medical treatment, I want to KNOW it works. I don't doubt your faith, but I don't know why you would need faith in the first place unless you don't know if it works... do you see what I mean?
People have faith in God, but no one really truly KNOWS if He's there. Sounds the same to me with homeopathy... faith, but not knowledge.
I'm sorry if I have offended anyone here. I am asking honest questions that your responses have raised.

Some people believe in homeopathy -some know it works --and some think it is a fraud and mainstream medicine is the only way to go. People differ in their attitudes and this is their right.
If you want only MDs around when you are sick-so be it. That's your right. This is a homeopathic board however and people come for HOMEOPATHIC advice.

Try Vithoulkas's Science of Homeopathy if your into the scientific side.
There is also the book by Amy Lansky Ph.d titled 'Impossible cure', she tells the story of her son healing from autism.

New York is very open-minded (I know-I used to live in New Rochelle)-well... there are always exceptions to the rule.
I'm not telling you to leave. You have as much right to be here as I do.
I just wrote it after seeing your advise to someone "go to medical doctor" so I wanted to make sure you know this is A HOMEOPATHIC board. I'm sure medical drs have at least one too where they advise people in need. (and certainly they do not advise "go to homeopath")

Are you calling me closed-minded? I ask all these questions, I want to get answers I can't find anywhere else, and you don't even answer them.
Instead, you call me closed-minded. That is neither true, nor is it very nice.
No, Astra, I had no clue it was a homeopathic board. *rolls eyes* It's titled "ABChomeopathy.com," how could I not know?
THANK YOU, SaltoftheEarth, for giving me SOMETHING to go on.

By the way, Astra2012...
Up at the top, you'll see it says "Hopmeopathy and Health Forum."
And health.
My opinions on health are just as valid as yours. If I have something to say, I am within forum rules to say it.

It's such an incredible waste of time...
I asked where in the usa you live because (on another forum) some Jim from SW Mo was saying the same words exactly. I thought it goes in the neighborhood (btw John Ashcroft was from somewhere there too).
Anyway, happy reading.

I have seen homeopathy work work work........work!
That is why the faith....and that is why I do the work I do....with the objective of healing people.
People come to my home from hundreds of miles to seek homeopathic advice.
A man of 72 years(from a different city) struggled for 7 years to treat his bladder problem through allopaths and homeopaths both.
My homeopathic advice, cured him in 3 weeks.
Imagine, in what esteem he and his family hold homeopathy (and by coincidence--me aswell).
Becos of him how many more wish to seek my advice (homeoapthic) for their ailements.
(Just citing one case out of many many).
Homeopathy works...
Befor Newton discoverd the Law of Gravity...apples were falling down from the trees all the time. Just that he brought in the concept of "gravitational force" to explain the phenomenon....and every one started calling it scientific discovery.
The apples never flew upwards into the sky ever......whether the scientific knowledge behind it was there or not.
Someday some one will discover why and how homeopathy works.....in terms of the interaction of the atoms, molecules, electrons, neutrons, protons, energy changes, nano-seconds, speed of light.... and (may be ) use integral calculus to apply a mathematical formula to deduce some kind of scientific relationship and what not.... then call it scientific discovery.
That will just be an explaination of the process.
The homeopathic process existed, it exists and will continue to exist !!!!
Just as the apples have always fallen down from the trees....never flown back into the sky.
Hence there is no doubt that homeopathy works....
Good luck.
