Enlarged Adenoids

My son is 5 years old and was diagnosed with enlarged adenoids. He suffers from sleep apenea because of this problem. He was 6 weeks premature (4lbs. 8oz.) and was able to come home with me 2 days later. He has not had any vaccinations and seldom is sick. He did have the chicken pox when he was 3 for 21 days. He currently weighs about 40lbs. Is there a homeopathic remedy to treat this problem? I do not want him to have surgery.
Thanks!

Dr.Mahfooz,

I have been giving the agraphis nut. for 3 nights. He is still having the sleep apnea.(He is recovering from a cold (stuffy nose). What now?

Does anyone have a suggestion? I do have the baccillinum now, also. Should I continue with the agraphis nut.,or baccillinum?

I am going to begin treatment with baccillinum tonight. I am a little bit apprehensive because I do not know much about baccillinum, but I think I am more worried about his sleep apnea. I hope I am doing the right thing.

Dr. Mahfooz,
My son seems to be improving. His apnea is less severe than before. The time between him stopping breathing and beginning
again is much shorter. Should I continue Ag Nut?

yes of course.

My 5 year old son was diagnosed with enlarge adenoids and tonsils and suggested surgery, I ran into your web page trying to find another option to surgery. I began to give him Cal Phos 30C i could not find the 6C for a week and his systoms were a lot better, he was able to sleep, and snored a lot less. After that week i stopped giving him the dosage and it seems that he is beggining to snore again and has trouble breathing, he sounds so congested allthe time. Should I try now agraphis nutan and what will be the dosage. How do we exactly know if his adenoid and tonsils are really shrinking and if they are should not his congestion improve too. Thanks for all your help.

Hi All, my son is 2yrs 9 months old and having the following symptoms.

1) While in sleep mostly he breaths with open mouth & snoring.
2) He is having very disturbed sleep as he is very frequently waking up and start sleeping in sitting stage.
3) While in sleep sometimes he stop breathing for few seconds and suddenly breath with very loud & lengthy snoring sound.
4) In winter he never want him to be covered with Quilt or blanket everytime we try to cover up he throws it out.
5) Slight breathing sound can be heard while he is awake and playing.
6) He is getting attack of cold/cough & high fever very often. Almost 6-8 times a year
7) He is not gaining any weight since last 1 year and it is constant at 15+ Kgs. Height growth is normal (above 36 inches)
9) He is eating all type of foods. He is taking milk but usually he consumes 300 – 500 ml. a day. Also he drinks a lot of water while eating.
Other wise he is both physically & mentally activity and normal. He does not have any problem with his hearing , seeing or understanding things.

Has ENT is suggesting the removal of adeniods, we would like to seek altenatives like homeopathy. I heard good news of overcoming my sons condition using homeopathy. It would be appreciated if any of the practitioner respond to my question.

Thanks

Please take three doses of Calcarea Carb 200 as follows and report back after 15 days.

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning

One dose means

If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 15 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 15-20 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you Kadwa for the prompt reply. Just want to confirm about the dosage mentioned.

So you are suggesting 3 doses of Calcarea Carb 200 in total....twice on day 1 and once on day2. Then stop taking further.

Wait and report you back after 15 days.

Your clarification once again would be apperciated.

Thanks
