We all specifically warned you not to play MAN'S BEST FRIEND HERE.

For the record, I have no recollection at all of specifically warning or banning Murthy for 'playing vigilante'.

It is no bad thing to speak up if anyone finds inaccuacy in what someone has said. HOWEVER, what does make the forum deteriorate into a squabble is arguments ad hominem (attacks against people rather than the things said.)

On that basis, would all who have posted on this thread please consider if their efforts are promoting harmony or whether they would like to dedicate their time to an alternative forum.

In fact, Karl hahan, I wonder if you might be a certain other user who has a history of making posts under aliases. If so, you can use your own website for slandering Murthy, (and more), and leave this one for discussing homeopathy and related topics.

I believe same is true in India too.

See, at my point, this puts anybody at disadvantage because we can't vigil all the time, at least at our job.

Yes People employed in India may be able to do so, let me know if I am wrong.

My company is most progressive in its thinking, and it gives lot of freedom to its employees, and no one breaths down our neck.

We are the best company in the area we have chosen, and are the leaders in India.

You may be surprised to know that it hardly takes me 10 minutes, once in an hour to do what I am doing now, and it in no way affects my other responsibilities.

That is called multi tasking, for your information. :-)

Does not justify at all but goes against all set rules by all companies in all countries.

Can you tell us what is your company. So we can check it from your company or employer, if they have this policy.

To play a Vigilante, a person must be of high moral value.

We all must know that you have licensed to conduct private business while using your office machinery, while sitting upon your office furniture, software and hardware.

And also people of poor country like India must demand an explanation about your company policies.

I expected this sort of question. :-)

It is sad and so sick that a person who is Public Servent and ignoring his duties and always on the internet.

Gavini Murthy you must prove that you are not that kind of person. You must prove beyond a reasonable doubt because all things say something else.

Today is Independence day of India, many good things have happened in this my beloved countries but still corruption in public offices is rampant.

Public Servents come to offices just to stay on the internet. They do not do any work but harass people and work only for bribe through a middleman.

Our Licansed and Insured Vigilantee must prove that he is not a corrupt public service official.

I know for gurantee that he is a public official.

With an IP address, one can lead to exact place where the posts originated. IP address is like a phone number.

Then there is a freedom of information act. One can ask for ISP or Server log.

Or one can make a complaint to Vigilance department.

Speak up Gavinimurthy, tell us that your acts of Vigil are pure from your side too.
