Trying to get better with depression/anxiety/tiredness

Hi,
I am looking to see if there is something out there better then I am taking.
Well first off I am on allopathic medicines since that is the first Dr. I had seen seven years ago when I started to develop symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Presently taking Effexor Xr, Xanax, and Zoloft.
Desperately would like to get off since I feel they make my symptoms worse.

I had a baby one year ago and the old symptoms returned about 6 months post partum.
Presently I am seeing a homeopath that told me to take Omega oils, water (8 glasses) more green veggies.
Gave me pfaffia, BHI exhaustion tabs, C2 Anti-Depression Spray, C2 Anti-anxiety spray,

Okay I am 32 years old,
Have craving of coffee especially late at night.
Insomnia, can't get out of bed in the morning, need to nap during the day, white coated tongue, headaches on left side of the head, during menstrual period everything is worse, crying all the time, increased under arm odor -bitter,
dry skin, patches on face of bronzing skin, dark under eye circles with small bumps,
can't enjoy my baby, hard time watching him on my own.
tasks of any kind make me exhausted. Constantly tired to the point that could lay in bed all day. Seem more upbeat at night. Can wake up in the middle of the night more alert.
I do smoke -about 15 a day, no alcohol.
When I get intense symptoms my left side of the mouth at the bottom is very sensitive and sore in the teeth and gums. Get cold sore on top and corner of the lips constantly.
I have severe anticipatory anxiety also -about upcoming events.
Social anxiety.
My appetite is low in the morning. Not usually hungry. Eat more from dinner on.
My body seems effected by the humidity and the heat. Night sweats.
Runny nose, watery eyes and dry in the morning and afternoon.

Trying out yoga and some relaxation books.

Too much info or need more?
Any help would be appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A little more info=
shoulder tension most of the time.
when I am not exhausted -very racy feel like I am in overdrive.
Sometimes mostly in th morning hear ocean waves in my ears.
Small bumps under my nose have cleared but seem to flare during stress.

No real reason given for my depression/anxiety -hereditary my mother suffered and my sister had a shorter bout.

Delivered my baby prematurely at 33 weeks. He is healthy and happy. I was on Effexor xr only during pregnancy 37.5 mg. Had contractions and was given Magnesium to stop the labor then they stopped that to let nature take it's course.
Well had to deliver naturally which was good but not intentional.
Wanted an epidural. Too late.
No explanation of why I went so early. Everyone told me it was the full moon that caused my water to break.
I am very insecure and shy but can be very talkative and nervous. Feel guilty alot and am sensitive.
I am a peacemaker. Look for others approval.
The eye sensitivity I mentioned also very tired and stressed feeling around the eyes.
Nothing serious in my Childhood or present. Have a nice family but get easily stressed by them, easily agitated by noises.
I don't sleep on a pillow very well at night. Usually lay on my stomach with the top of my head on it.
Or on my side I will sleep with the pillow more on my head.

Okay -any help here?

Okay I guess nobody can really answer -it's hard to answer me when I am on these meds but I would really like to get off and don't know if this homeopathic dr. is prescribing the correct things for me. I feel like I am taking a lot.

Anti-depression spray
Anti-anxiety spray
Exhaustion tabs
Pfaffia

On top of all my meds.

My latest is that I am in a lot of pain on the left side of my jaw -all the teeth are very sensitive. The Dentist told me that the wisdom tooth needs to be removed and I am not sure that it does. but the pain does subside and return on occasion. Just thought it may be TMJ.

And of course my period is due this week and I am having horroible anticipatory anxiety -not to mention a Wedding I have to attend this weekend. My period makes me feel the worst emotionally when I am already feeling bad.
And I have a child I would really like to enjoy but it seems everyday I am sick with something.

Just need some direction here.

Hello britee

Can you tell us what are the ingredients in following things?:

Anti-depression spray
Anti-anxiety spray
Exhaustion tabs
Pfaffia

what are the remedies your current homeopath is giving you?

what is the reason you started effexor, zoloft for?

one quick-fix suggestion though for anxiety especially when you've to attend important events like wedding. Take Bach flower remedy 'Rescue Remedy' when you feel too anxious.

Thank you so much for your reply. It is truly appreciated.

I started taking zoloft about 7 years ago when I had back pains and headaches. Just overwhelming tiredness, worry.
=
I could not get up out of bed, frightened of everything.
Never really had a diagnosis other then anticipatory anxiety and severe depression.

I was given zoloft and felt better until about 2 years later when I started to feel the feelings again.
I was given effexor xr 150mg and tapered to zoloft 50 mg
and xanax .5 but take a half this xanax only at night and a quarter in the morning.

Continued to be okay for several years but after the having my baby about 6 months everything returned.

So I am presently back on the above.

That is why I have sought natural. These prescriptions are not curing anything.

So the homeopath prescribed
Mangosteen juice for energy
Anti-depression spray -Lithium Carbonate 6x
brain
hypothalmus/pineal
sepia
natrum sulphuricum
autrum metallicum
serotonin

Anxiety spray-
oxytropis lamberti
borax
causticum
ellattaria cardamommum
plumbum metallicum
sepia
lillum tigrinum

Pfaffia-suma root

BHI Heel Exhaustion -Phosphorus, a ton of other stuff

Don't want to bore you -let me know if you need it.

Isn't this alot?

Thanks for the remedy for anxiety -I will order because it's very overwhelming.

Thanks so much!

Trying to deal with depression is a entire lifestyle change, no pill or set of pills can correct it without hurting another part of your life. It is a vicious cycle.

Like most chronic conditions and their symptoms, there is not one single cause for depression. Rather, there are several different factors which can contribute to and cause depression. When depression is not a by-product of external events, it is called endogenous, meaning “originating from within.” This kind of depression is believed to be fundamentally due to biochemical abnormalities,3 specifically an altered balance of the neurotransmitters serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. This imbalance may occur in a number of different ways.

Look up Jigsaw Health on Internet, GREAT INFO

GOOD LUCK... Information is key to treating depression and anxiety. I try to watch what I eat, I take vitamins and minerals that my body may be deficient in, and I exercise AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Dear britee

I think that you're in for a long haul after all these years of medication. Your cooperation and your will is very important in this treatment.

First objective is to drain your vital organs of toxic to prepare you for further treatment. Side-by-side you can reduce your dependency on allopathic anti-depressants so that your anxiety and depression can be better handled by homeopathic medicines(do the reduction of allopathic medication under your doctor's supervision).

Necessary dietary changes are:

Minimal or nil- smoking, alcohol, coffee, sugary items.

Dr. Andres and myself have agreed upon following individualised formula for your detoxification:

a) Nux Vomica 6x
b) Chelidonium 6x
c) Solidago 6x
d) Berberis 6x

Dosage: three drops of each thrice a day for a month.

Along with the above you need to take:

e) Chlorella, capsules (Dosage: 2 caps. before each meal (i.e. 3 times every day for a month))

f) Magnesium peroxidum: (dosage: 2 caps. 30 minutes before each principal meal (midday meal and dinner) for ten days).

Report after a month(However you can report periodically about your state of health). After this phase your anxiety/depression can be dealt with appropriately.

Try ' Quercus 30 (4 Pills Three times a day )
(To take away bad effects of Tobacco)

Zincum Met. 30 (Twice a day)
(For depression with skin affection and dry eyes)

Report after 3 days of taking these medicines.

Best of recovery.

Thank you for your replies.
It means so much that you are willing to help me out on my path to recovery!
I am so glad that I was able to find this board.
There is not much help when I visit a psychiatrist and not many options when you feel bad!
Also I will be strong to get rid of all these terrible things I put into my body!

Thank you again for your kindness. I will be sure to report!!

britee last decade
Hi Rajendra,
Thanks for your reply.
Are you saying to take these in addition to detoxing as above or separately?

Thank you.

britee last decade
Don't mix up the two prescriptions. You can try any one of them. The other is equally good.

Best of luck

Rajendra last decade
Okay -since I will be trying to get off of these medications, smoking, and coffee. I am sure it will be a process that will take some time. Is it okay to take these remedies now even though I have not begun the process or wait until I start lowering meds? etc...

britee last decade
Hi britee

As Rajendra said please avoid mix-up. If you're willing to go by my suggestion as stated above it'll be a good idea to lower the anti-depressants along with the detoxification so that the detox formula can also help curb the withdrawal symptoms in a positive way.

when you're starting the above procedure please report.
