Combination homeopathy vs. Classical homeopathy
While this debate was raging in full fury, I made a direct reference to Reckeweg UK for a clarification.Following is the reply received by me from their Managing Director:

The question of Classical as opposed to Combination Homoeopathy always provokes a debate. In the modern world there are still Practitioner's who practice classical homoeopathy only and if this is what they wish to do then we respect their feelings. If there were adverse effects of their medicines , by this time there would have been many legal suits against them.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Today in internet age, much clinical data is available on the action of many medicines single or composite.
Combination remedies has helped spread homeopathy very fast. I know many people they know a specific combination remedy that suits them.

The combination may achieve the desired effect (suppressing the symptoms, which they call a cure). Then the physician does not know which medication worked. As a result the patient is kept on the dangerous drug indefinitely, with drug interactions compounding the side effects of the single drugs. If the patient aggravates it is difficult to tell which remedy caused the problem; if the patient is improving slightly, which remedy should be re-administered in a higher potency?

It is good for the manufacturer to keep you permanently on his combination medicine. The more the sales, more the profit.
Combination medicines are atleast 5 times costlier,compared to single medicines, for the same quantity of medicine.
Imagine, the profits these people manage.Their marketing strategy is similar to that of allopathy,with lot of incentives to the doctors, who prescribe these combo medicines.
Allopathy is much safer than these combination medicines.

You used to be an Editor and Incharge of everything here. Few days ago you were found saying 'vigil will continum at abchomeopathy'.
Where is that vigilantee attitude.
Do you want to educate yourself what this happened. Then everybody started editing you. One after all and all after one.
Hope we all can live together in this world without being editor of each other's life, without being an enforcer of a certain dogma and philosophy. Without being a constable on each other's shoulder.

In my personal experience I copied the ingredients of this above formulation and used it on many lost gird cases (lost even after classical homeopathy treatment) most cases were solved.
Robinia tree and abies tree both grow by my home and I value both trees and make this combination at home.
Carbo Veg is just charcoal and I always have a stock of Nux Vomica nuts.

That is what the manufacturers of vaccines say - no known adverse effects as a result of their medicines.

Daisy...I am myself an unattached party. I am trying to get more information ....will share with every one as and when it turns up.
I am not a winner if my argument is proved right. I am a winner only when the truth comes out.
Would anyone think that I am not interested in the right choice for myself and my family ??
However, till now I have seen a lot of evidence in favour of Combination meds...no matter what Classical Homeopaths may say against it.

Have the combinations undergone provings? If not, how could they be properly selected?
Is there an appropriate 'direction of cure' using them? If not, how could they not be considered suppressive?
These are my main concerns about combinations. I would appreciate hearing any responses.

Daisy...the problem is...people are assuming that Provings and suppression take place all the time.
No they don't....only in a few cases. I have explained this on many threads here at ABC. (I have also said that a unduly greater scare is being made compared to the actual case).
Reckeweg have been conducting continous research since 1947 with the combinations. They are also guided by eminent homeopaths in their research.
Besides, combinations are made out of complimentary meds....i.e. ones that support each-others action.
The potencies used are normally 'low and intermediate'.

No arguments, but i m using R'2 ,R3 ,R79 ,R40 ,R18 etc when i need since 8 years, these R i mean Dr reckeweg combinations are my best friends indeed and lot of others. some one believes it or not ,they do work,do help[ u if u r not elergic of there name.please dont mind with out these i m ......keep on good work Dr reckeweg and co and so many others. once nearly 10 years back some body prescribed two comb of DR kent phorm believe he saved me 600 pound that time and we allways wish that person good luck. thanks to simple combinations.If u dont like go ------

Anytime a clinical trials were started to prove a certain medicine, homeopathys were the main obstacles they said stop it, same medicine is not for other person with the same problem.

And then if one prescribes with full case taking, still memory interferes. One just falls for lycopodium or phosphorous. Or a homeopathy keep prescribing anacardim or cell salts even after asking two hundred questions.

Pl try to understand, Question here is not whether combination gives relief or not.Use these, if these are effective, but can we say these as homeopathic medicines . Let any one of you provide the aphors from organon,speaking about such combinations.Yes these may be palliatves.No criticism for any such medicaments,these are certainly of help, but let us follow the principles of homeopathy, and let us not justify such remedies as homeopathic.

You are absolutely correct that these are not homeopathy remedies but question is that if combination remedies based upon homeopathy dilutions work?
It appears that no other industry makes and sells these medicines except homeopathy medicines people.

Pankaj, if I might ask - what response do you expect from employees of the company apart from how effective their combinations are?
I think combinations MIGHT have their uses in certain acute cases where a person does not or cannot see a homeopath and does not have the patience or the time to ride out the problem. For one, they feel like they're taking something - which might help them feel better. For another, since the use is not prolonged, likely that little harm is done. A third factor is that the combination might even be of some therapeutic value, whether homeopathic or not - I say might because I have no idea whether it is so or not.
Murthy, I suggest you continue your vigil and your comments but ignore anyone who is only trying to provoke you so that you are either banned or get fed up and leave so that they can rule the roost again. You are being made to look like the provoker while the other party says what he wants and - if reprimanded, comes up with a meaningless apology/ acceptance. So please conserve your energy for where its needed. And know that at least some people understand your purpose and support you. Good luck.
