Hi Jmalik

I am really glad that people are taking interest in this subject and asking good questions.

No.You don't have to wait an year,to know whether you suppressed it or not.

In case of suppression, the child may eat less, his sleep may get disturbed, and he may become dull.

you will notice a difference in his energy level. He will be no more the happy and cheerful child he was.(when the itch was not there).

For adults, a feeling of not being well is a sure sign of suppresion.

The fundamental change will be in the energy levels,be it a child or an adult.

you can notice it with in a short period.

So, normally the first question a good homeopath will ask on any follow up interview is 'How are you feeling'?

An honest answer will tell him whether he is curing,or suppressing.

If you suppress the first layer diseases,(see the first page, for a list) these are some of the diseases you may get.

So, I have a similar question as above - regarding a child.

I had a child with eczema and though I don't believe I greatly suppressed her eczema (ie with steroids), she now has asthma (at age 4). We used hydrocortizone a handful of times on her eczema - it cleared up when I took the food she was allergic to out of my diet (when I was nursing).

Is not working towards 'curing' the asthma causing suppression as if I were actively suppressing (with allopathic steroids, for example)??

I hope my question is clear. In other words, can I expect her to move up the tiers even without suppression?? Is inactivity (ie not trying to find a homeopathic cure, for example) as dangerous as actively suppressing with allopathic or homeopathic medicines?

Dear Josiewales,

I am so happy to see that interest and awareness is increasing among the people now visiting this forum.I hope Mr.Murthy will not mind my butting in.

First of all, the relation between suppressed eczema going deeper to become asthma is a phenomenon observed and recorded by thousands and thousands of homeopaths in millions of cases.I personally have observed it in a few dozen cases. With correct treatment of this asthma, the original eczema again comes back and the asthma is relieved. With further correct treatment the eczema also goes away and then we can say that the person has been cured.

Now to your second question. This eczema going deeper so fast upon suppression and becoming asthma indicates the operation of an active 'miasm' (in this case most probably sycosis). An active 'miasm' if left untreated keeps penetrating deeper and deeper into the system with the symptoms becoming more and more troublesome and dangerous. The asthma's intensity will become more and more forcing the patient to take further suppressive treatment. So, its a vicious cycle unfortunately.

Okay, I understand about an untreated miasm.

You're right, too, that in the last year her asthma has become more frequent and more difficult to manage.

Thanks for your information, it is very much appreciated!

A person tends to remain in the same layer,as long as he sticks to a a healthy life style, doesn't suppress the problems he has, and doesn't receive major shocks in his life, avoid getting exposed to obnoxious influences.

It is possible sometimes that, a major depressing event in the life of a person, too can change the layer, for example the demise of a loved ones, or loss of a job etc.

Some debilitating diseases also make you jump the layer, like typhoid,if not treated properly.

Coming to your specific question,if you have not suppressed tier 2 diseases, one of the possibilities of moving into the third layer is removed.

Mr.Murthy gave you an excellent answer.I would like to add just one more point to it.

As people grow older and hence weaker with age, the vital force (the defence mechanism or the immune system) becomes weaker, and then it becomes easire for miasmatic diseases to penetrate deeper or to change layers.I am assuming here that the person has not undertaken a curative treatment of his disease.

Also, due to weaker immunity, older people catch acute illnesses more easily, thus increasing the chances of deeper penetration of chronic diseases.

Thanks Rajiv

Yes. As people grow older, their vitality reduces, and they will be attacked more easily by obnoxious influences.

They will reach a stage, where no medication can help them, and eventually they die, with some incurable disease.

So, obviously, there will be progression of disese into deeper layers, as one advances with age.

However, through proper homeopathy, the end stage can be made painless extant, and the patient will die peacefully, being conscious till the last breath.

Dear Sir Murthy, my threads are done, so I am free to contribute time to your efforts.

By the way let's know which book are you coping from. I am pretty sure that you are not inventing all this.

If you tell us the book name, we can help you.

And what are you views about using.

Pulsatilla 3x and Nux Vomica 3x on the alcoholics.
As well Coprinus 1X.

Please use your suppression theory to evaluate my findings.

kuldeep last decade
If the alcoholism is palliated by your above concoction,(which is very unlikely),each patient may react to the suppression differently.

Some patients may get hypertension, some may get diabetes. Some may become unduly irritable.

Dear Sir Gavini

You said: Some patients may get hypertension, some may get diabetes. Some may become unduly irritable.

How did you conclude it?
