Attn - Simone & Evocationer

Wishing you both a wonderful 2015, thank you so much for your help this year.

The latest update for me is (as previously mentioned) the carcinosinum helped my anxiety a lot - in fact the daytime anxiety has gone.

The chronic insomnia is still a work in progress, but after 17 years I expect it will take a while to shift. I hoped some past trauma issues would also resurface so I could deal with them, but nothing has happened yet.

With the anxiety gone it suddenly occurred to me that it may not be too late to travel and teach English, which has been my only really big dream. So I began researching and preparing but I have now had another setback.

I can't get confirmation from my GP for about 2.5 weeks as he is on holiday, but I am pretty sure I have endometriosis, or perhaps even something worse. If it is the former, then I feel that to keep it at bay in future I will need to sustain a very healthy lifestyle which may be too hard to do when I'm overseas, so I am reevaluating my situation.

The reasons I feel I may have endometriosis are -

1. High risk factors - never had children / late menopause (so a lot of exposure to estrogen over a long period of time)

2. Have had endometrial cells in a pap smear previously

3. Relevant symptoms

- a lot of pelvic discomfort, odd pains and cramping around time of period

- very dark brown blood at end of last period

- recent bladder infection

- slightly heaver periods

I have some herbs here which I am keen to try unless there is something homeopathic that you think could help. I am still taking St John's Wort in the evening to help with the sleep.

If you think its a good idea I will complete another questionnaire, I just don't know whether to answer it only re the gynecological issues, or to include the anxiety / insomnia.

thanks again

Hi Evocationer,

I have been observing the insomnia a bit more closely as follows -

Most nights either difficulty falling asleep or waking during the night (usually around 2 or 3) and having difficulty getting back to sleep

Toss and turn all night (all sides), not because I am uncomfortable, but because I think a new position may be more comfortable, then when its not I immediately want to change again.

Lots of thoughts constantly creeping in & a lot of difficulty keeping them at bay. As the thinking builds and becomes more intense I subconsciously become more and more agitated. My muscles start to tense and my chest feels constricted, and my breathing becomes more shallow and jagged.

Periodically when things are at their worst I will feel an uncomfortable surging feeling in my nerve endings.

Re the endometriosis, the symptoms I have had is

- very dark brown blood two periods back (almost black)

- a lot of pain especially just before and during my last period right throughout the whole pelvic region. A lot of cramping plus a lashing type of pain, like I was being whipped from the inside.

Not yet confirmed it is endometrioses as my GP is away but I feel 90% sure.

The anxiety has basically gone since I first took the carcinosinum, as mentioned.

I hope you can help, many thanks

Ok first step is to take a single dose of the Carc 200 - I assume you have this already? Take it the same way you did with the 30c, but one dose only. Let me know in a week what kind of changes you have seen.

Hi Evocationer,

I took the Carc 200 approx 8 - 9 days ago. It has been moderately helpful for the sleep - mostly with the thoughts at night. From day 1 they were fewer and also less compelling / powerful which has been helping the most.

I have been getting more of a 'sleepy' feeling around the head / chest area when I'm trying to sleep, that & few thoughts leads to a sort of light stupor / dozing state which I stay in for a long time. However I still don't go into proper sleep for very long during the night. This stupor state can be at the beginning or during the night.

I still sometime get the agitated feeling that creeps in and builds to the point where I can feel it in my nerve endings & I think it relates to the tossing & turning which I have still been doing, however last night that completely stopped (with no urge to do it), which is very unusual.

Daytime has been mixed, feeling quite introverted on some days, but on one day I had much more relaxed /natural interactions with other people.

Unfortunately I've had 2-3 bad days, on day 3 I felt stressed / low / thinly stretched. Then day 7 - 8 I had massive problems with hotmail and got very stressed and upset. I had a lot to do at the Post Office and felt quite overwhelmed there, panicky like I couldn't cope. I felt an 'airy' stressed type of feeling around my nostrils.

I also got a headache, dull slightly throbbing on the right and towards the back - yesterday and slightly today.

In response to this stress reaction my instincts tell me that perhaps the 200 was slightly too much, and not to have anything else for a while.

But my logic tells me that a bad reaction would have happened earlier. I don't regret taking it as I feel it has been helping a fair amount, but not completely.

What do you think?

many thanks ~ pink frost

You are right, the aggravation from a remedy would have happened much sooner. You will always get ups and downs in response to external events, until such time as the internal issue has been resolved.

That much improvement from one dose of 200c is great - a very good result. Do you feel that you have relapsed over the last few days?

Hi Evocationer, yes I have seen quite a few good changes with both the Carcinosinum 30C and 200C and overall have been happy with it, thank you.

I don't feel I've relapsed I just had a couple of funny days which threw me a bit. And I still feel introverted and lacking confidence some days. And I was confused because I felt nothing physiological happening when I took it, whereas with everything else I could feel something happening.

Is it possible for you to recommend something for the (yet to be confirmed) endometriosis now?

I am having an ultrasound in two weeks, but feel sure that's what it is. Since there has been improvements in my emotional state I had big hopes to travel to Asia and teach English in about 3 months time.

But now I'm having these major gynecological symptoms so everything is in limbo now and I feel the sooner I can treat it the better.

Symptoms so far (and all except maybe the first one are indications of endometriosis) are -

4 periods in 7 weeks (menopause?)

Urinary tract infection - Early Dec

A lot of lashing type pelvic pain and cramping, before and during my period and also around ovulation

Very dark brown blood during a period Mid Dec

Then this evening (first time ever) blood in my stools

I am also in a high risk group (late menopause / no children)

What do you think?

many thanks,

pinkfrost
