Just a quick note to say that today I have taken some nat murs in an attempt to improve my feelings.

If you have gone through a great extent of indignation, insult or grief and you feel that your warts started developing just after that period, your remedy is STAPHYSAGRIA.

You can take 1M once every 15 days. Your present mental condition should also get better with this remedy if you still hold those thoughts and memories.

Thank you Rishimba, I have ordered this remedy but it is spelled slightly differently STAPHISAGRIA as opposed to STAPHYSAGRIA. I do hope this is the same remedy. Botanical name Delphinium Staphysagria.

Please confirm if this is correct and also what dosage I should take. I have bought 1M in oral liquid form.

Many thanks.

I'm not sure if it is relevant to mention that I have a fever at present. Having been away with my parents and siblings at the weekend I have returned with a virus. Should I wait until this has passed before proceeding with treatment? I am already feeling a little better today and expect the fever will be gone by tomorrow.

This is the same remedy as I know of only one remedy with such a name. In materia medica there is no such remedy with the other spelling.

Please wait for a few days and let your fever be over.

Ok. So my fever has gone and I am feeling fine today. I aim to take first dose of STAPHYSAGRIA tomorrow when I am certain I will be fully better.

What dosage should I take? Is it three drops in 20ml of water first thing in morning as with other remedies?

Thanks.

You can have the same potency and the same dosing frequency.

Once in 15 days one dose of 1M potency.

Thank you Rishimba. I will follow this dosage and report back in due course.

Hello Rashimba, it has been a while since I last posted.

I have been trying a different approach as I feel I have been getting very confused about my homeopathic picture and feel uncertain about my constitutional type. I stopped the use of stphysagria as I wondered if I was clutching at straws.

I have done a lot reading and research and have Ilearned that it may be possible to correct my inherited predisposition to talipes by the use of nosodes (specifically syphilinum). I have also learned that my lack of success in treating the warts/verrucas may be due to this miasm.

What are your thoughts on this? Have you any experience of using nosodes?

Many thanks.

You need to list down all your general symptoms, modalities and personality traits. Based on them you have to find out which is your upper most miasmatic layer.

If you don't have any idea of miasms, you can write to me directly so that I can send the collective traits of each miasm. If you read these traits, you will easily get to know your miasm.

Based on your physical symptoms, your upper-most miasmatic layer is 'sychosis' and you need Medorrhinum if you go for a nosode.

Thanks Rishimba, do you mean email you directly for details of the miasms?

I have been told that syphilinum is always used in cases of a congenital anomaly. Would you agree with this? I have taken 2 treatments of it and I did feel some effect. I can explain further if you are interested.

I am finding it difficult to see my own picture clearly, perhaps because I have been chopping and changing but I also feel that something is blocking me from getting to the bottom of treating the warts and because they are still spreading it is difficult to feel I am getting anywhere. Hence my choosing to look at the use of nosodes.

I am very grateful for your input on the matter. Thank you.

I don't agree that Syphilinum is always used in cases of congenital anomaly. It is all based on which miasm your set of symptoms direct to. It could be any one of the miasms.

Miasms are generally found out considering the family health history, patients own health history, modalities and personality etc.

If you could describe all the above to me, I would be in a position to find your predominant miasm. Please note in most cases, its a combination of miasms that we inherit from our families.

I see. Thank you Rishimba.

So family history: I think the major things to point out are allergies. Mother eczema and IBS, Father psoriasis. Maternal grandfather died age 85 from alzheimer's related problems. Maternal grandmother still alive, suffers from macular degeneration and IBS. Paternal grandparents still alive (85+) with age-related conditions. No history of any malignant illness in either family.

Myself and one of my brothers born with talipes, corrected by strapping as infant.

I had no major childhood illnesses but several allergic episodes, always skin rashes. Repeated tonsilitis as a teenager, treated initially with antibiotics which did not help and resulted in verrucas. Finally cured by homeopathic remedy (I think calc phos). No return of tonsilitis for approx 15 years.

My first child was born with bilateral talipes, quite severely and required surgery as an infant to correct prior to walking. Next issue was placenta previa with second child and hemmoraged at 36 weeks and had to spend final month of pregnancy in hospital. Cesarian birth.

Next ailment was perioral dermatitis which I felt pressured to treat with antibiotics as the doctors convinced me it was the only way to eradicate it. The dermatitis disappeared but was I left very run down and then had bad bout of tonsilitis. This time I tried to rest and recover naturally but couldn't fight it so went to homeopath and was cured within a few days. I'm afraid I don't remember what the remedy was.

Current complaints are many warts and verrucas. Very ugly warts around nailbeds on both middle fingers. Dry skin, especially in cold weather when it easily chaps and cracks. Lower back ache especially at night. I feel some discomfort in my right hip and have slightly limited movement on that side, I have always connected this with the talipes.

I would describe myself as suffering more from emotional illnesses than physical. I am rarely ill otherwise, unless I get very run down.

Personality traits: Sociable, easily make friends but shy in large groups. Hate public speaking. Quite political with tendency to radical and alternative views. Misunderstood and rebellious teenager. Rather nomadic, like change and moving on. Enjoy keeping fit and healthy eating.

I am a light sleeper and find it difficult empty my mind. I struggle with certain relationships, especially that of my mother in law, and unpleasant exchanges will really eat me up.

Physical appearance: blonde, blue eyes, fair complexion, short and slightly over weight.

Please let me know if you need any further details.

Thank you for giving your time again.

Kind regards.

You have inherited a combination of PSORA and SYCHOSIS.

Look up narratives on both the nosodes of these miasms and based on totality, decide which one is your present state. Take the nosode first that is close to your present state.

rishimba 9 years ago
Thank you Rishimba. I will look into those.
