If the eruptions on your back are unusually high, it could be the response to the remedy. The initial aggravation is an indication of cure in the long run.

Have you ever seen such an intense break-out of pimples on your back earlier?

I can't comment right now. Please don't take any other remedy now. Wait and watch for another week or two.

I have not been taking any other remedy. Had just taken the 3 nat mur doses.

I forgot to tell you that my eyes were burning a little since two days. I am in Pune since a few days and not constipated. My bowel movements are fine. I also noticed that previously my hands had a protruding display of viens, and now I don't see the veins popping out at the back of my hand. Dandruff has intensified like nobody's business and everytime I look at my back my anxiety level shoots up. I panic and then start crying. A feeling of hopelessness grips me.

If this is an aggravation, how long until it settles down?

Some homeopaths would refer it as a 'healing crisis' situation. In such a phase some symptoms get cured sooner than others. Some old suppressed symptoms are also recalled by the body and then finally they get cured.

Tell me about your sleep. How has been the change in your sleep and an overall feeling of well being?

I can't say how long this will continue. It all depends on your vitality...how long does it take to get in sync again after this disturbance.

One thing for sure, this remedy has created a response in you which is definitely a good sign. If you wait for another week, some more positive changes may be seen.

Homeopathic remedies, when taken based on symptoms, in medium potencies will never cause permanent damage to the vitality. So, don't get worried.

I have a feeling, things will improve in a week. Keep your mind away from unnecessary tensions and be optimistic.

I sleep alright. I have not had a problem with sleeping. I sleep 8 hours a day.

Well-being: well, I don't know. I am always worried about how I look. I still am. No change in that. Thinking about my skin troubles makes me cry.

There is one thing I wanted to lay a special emphasis on - Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation: More than the acne and the boils. It's the marks that bother me much. They are dark brown like scars that get left behind and simply refuse to go away! My back is filled with those. My face is too, but back is much worse. The problem is that I have read that it can take years to fade away.

Can homeopathy help me with this?

prajkta last decade
Definitely, homeopathy can cure it. Based on your posts I observed you may have been a PULSATILLA girl in your teens. In homeopathy SILICEA is called the chronic remedy for pulsatilla.

So, all your problems of hyperpigmentation and scars will go away once silicea is administered.

Let Nat Mur layer be removed first but in order to completely get cured of these eruptions, a few high potency doses of silicea will be required.

Your present mental symptoms are also not very different to silicea...so this remedy will definitely work.

I had taken Silicea 30 and 200. lol. A few weeks ago. Didn't help. :(

Anyway, I must congratulate you (too soon?) that Nat Mur is the first remedy that has brought about some decent changes in me. Dandruff has reduced already!

So yeah, Thank you.

prajkta last decade
Silicea didn't help you because the nat mur layer had to be removed first.

I have always been telling you, if your troubles have aggravated after a failed love relationship, nat mur should be the first remedy to be taken. You did not talk about your heart-breaks, so I was kind of beating around the bush. As soon as you started coming out of your shell and disclosed your mental state..it was like 'Bang-On'!!

Don't worry, SILICEA will work after NAT MUR has done its job.

rishimba last decade
So, from what I have read and what you have told me.
The order looks like
NAT MIR ---> SILICEA --->PULSATILLA

And then I should get cured.

prajkta last decade
I guess you are right. You may not have to take pulsatilla unless you have some peculiar symptoms still with you that call for the remedy.

It's been 10 days since I took Nat Mur. Following are the observations:

1) Mentally: Anxious, teary, and sometimes indifferent.

2) Skin is still more or less the same. Dandruff has decreased.

3) Appetite has increased. I eat faster now I think.

4) The veins at the back of my hand don't look so protruding now.

5) Talking exhausts me. After talking to a person for some time, my mind tells me 'couldn't you talk a little less and conserve your energy?'

6) Still critical of people.

7) Bouts of twitching and cramps still happen but at a much lesser frequency.

If you think the symptoms that have reduced a bit, are still healing with every passing day, then just wait and watch.

Or If you feel you are entering a plateau, go for another dose of NAT MUR 200C.

Your sleep, hunger and a sense of well being are good indicators for the healing process. As long as these are fine, it means your body is healing itself gradually.

Can I try 1m next?

prajkta 9 years ago
No, don't increase the potency now. It may not give the same result on the physical level. Let all the physical symptoms be cleared with this potency as long as it works. When 200C stops producing any response altogether, go for 1M single dose.

Okay there is a particular detail I need to share,

The acne on my back has always been quite different to the acne on my face. The acne never comes to an head on my back and never mature. They just come as painful boils and sometimes papules and stay that way for weeks. and eventually leave unsightly scars.

The aggravation I got after nat mur 200 (acne on back)has not dried up. They don't pain, probably they are dead but they have not dried up. Still in papular form. What do I do? :(

prajkta 9 years ago
The two remedies that cover this disease picture well are SILICEA and HEPAR SULPHUR. You will have to take one of the two based on totality of your symptoms to reduce or overcome this tendency.

For the time being, you can't jump to silicea as you are on nat mur. Once you are through with it, we can start silicea.

once your greasy scalp, oily skin, dandruff and pimples along the hair-line etc. are cured, you can start silicea. Till that time, you should not disturb the action of nat mur.

You can repeat nat mur 200c a few times once in 15 days though.

My back is hurting since morning like it does when I PMS. and my period date is 15 days away.

Recently I noticed that I find sleeping on my back with my arms on my head more comfortable.

'Sleeping on the back with hands over head'
This is a pulsatilla feature...so I guess pulsatilla generals are surfacing gradually once the nat mur layer is being removed.

You have not taken too high a potency nor too many doses. The remedy was absolutely based on your symptoms. Rest assured, its not going to harm you. We can't say how your vital forces are working now. One thing is for sure, you are on the way towards cure. During this time, patients must bare these changes and wait for some days.

Please take notes of the following changes.

1. How has your thirst level changed in the past 10 days.

2.Has your mind become more acceptable to consolation. What changes have you noticed in your thoughts and feelings.

3. Note your periods and let me know of any changes.

4. Has your quality of sleep changed in the last 10 days?

5. Have you started feeling a bit better overall?

1. How has your thirst level changed in the past 10 days.

I think. My thirst level has slightly increased. Not sure though.

2.Has your mind become more acceptable to consolation. What changes have you noticed in your thoughts and feelings.

I wouldn't know about that because I never discuss these things with anyone for some reason. Sometimes I think I want to, but something holds me back.

3. Note your periods and let me know of any changes.

I should be getting my periods after 2 weeks or so, will let you know.

4. Has your quality of sleep changed in the last 10 days?

I sleep just fine.

5. Have you started feeling a bit better overall?

I think I have become more accepting about my problems. Also, I have a feeling that if I move out things may change for good. Pretty sure my parents have unknowingly damaged me. I have done some stupid things too but my critical, pushy and judgmental parents and domestic environment have paralyzed me to a great extent.

prajkta 9 years ago
I guess you are right. I have seen quite a few people who have changed for good and done very well in their lives once they have moved out.

Would you be interested to take a job abroad?

rishimba 9 years ago
I come from a non-engineering background so I don't know if that is actually possible, but I am more than willing to try.

I am looking at writing jobs. Because that is all I can do. I am also planning to give a few MBA entrance tests along with my job and in case I get into a good college (either India or abroad) nothing like it. But to be able to study for that I'd need some peace of mind and concentration too which is quite hard because I can hardly manage to work towards my goals as I am always busy worrying about my problems.

I feel MBAs are in great demand in the Gulf. Some of my friends, who aren't engineers in the oil & gas sector, are mostly MBAs and they are doing much better.

All eyes are on Qatar now as the country would be hosting 2022 Football World Cup. You will find many opportunities in Qatar in the next 8 years in various fields. I am also attached to one of the magazine houses here for oil and gas related articles.

If you ever think of moving out of India, look at Qatar or UAE.

rishimba 9 years ago
Thanks for the insight. Actually, one of my friends recently got an offer from Qatar Gas as a Sr. Technician. The told me that they will be paying him quite well. And no tax shall be deducted. While I am not sure how good the profile of a technician is, but I am pretty sure he will do pretty good for himself.

Coming to me, I have quit a lot of jobs. I have failed to do justice to the opportunities I got because I am not happy and confident enough. It's not that I am worrying for nothing, my skin is actually quite bad. I hope I regain my beauty because I have been vexing over it for so long. It's getting in the way of everything.

Will take a dose of Nat Mur 200 tomorrow morning. I hopefully should see a decent change in the next 30-45 days with Nat Mur. Let's see.

I do hope Nat Mur and Silicea help you get rid of these pimples & scars in another two months. In fact I would be visiting Mumbai to write an exam last week of June. Would love to meet you once over coffee. I am sure you won't mind showing up once you are done with this phase..:-)

rishimba 9 years ago
What exam? I would love to meet you of course. :-)

prajkta 9 years ago
I need to have this certification called International Welding Engineer. This certification would upgrade my work profile and make my CV attractive to potential employers.

If I am eligible for the exam, I will be there in Mumbai from 24th to 29th June.

Will keep you posted on that.

Sure thing!

BTW, I drink a glass of Tang everyday. I realised that it has orange flavour. Will it interfere with the dose of Natrum Mur?
