Dr. Maheeru - Please Help: Blood in Urine

Feel tired this evening. Have blood in urine since 2 days.

Current age 49.
In general like warm food.
Most of hair is grey, started greying in 30s.
Back problem - although its L5/S1 part of spine (herniated disc), sciatic pain used to be on the right side. When he used lycopodium, he says he didnt notice much difference so he stopped it. So there was no follow up.
Reddish brown urine.
Had colonoscopy in the past because of irregular bowel, hard stool. have had haemmorhhoids - within the last year. Irregular stool, once a day - some days he feels he has passed full stool, other days he feels it is very little stool. Sometime has to strain to pass stool.
Physiotherapist has told him to do stretch exercises to strengthen the abdominal core, it seems to be helping as it relieves the herniated disc related back pain.
History of diabetes and cancr in family - both parents had diabetes + cancr. Mother had ovarian cancr at age 57 years, passed away at age 63 (in 2001). Father has diabetes and recently diagnosed with prostate cancr. Father also had grey hair early in life.

He feels that breathes better on the right side, left side nose is a bit blocked. Has deviated nasal septum.

Eyes - Used to have 20/20 vision when young, however over the past 6 years been reading/writing a lot at work on computer and working longer, eyesight has diminished significantly. Both far and near vision is terribly bad, is wearing bi-focals.
No exercise besides stretches. Walk about 20 minutes per day to work and back. No full body exercise.
Type of food he likes: Likes everything. Like warm food. Like sweet, rice, carbohydrates in general.

Does not like to be alone. Likes to have company.

Feel apprehensive about doing something new.

Snores a lot in bed. Wakes up thirsty at night about 1-2 times each night.

Feel irritable.
Gets tears in eyes - feels this is happening more than previously.

Had dizziness in the past (early 1990s) years ago from inner ear allergies. Not had that recently.

Very dry skin, palms of hands are cracked.

Have furrows in forehead.

Eyesight at night is much worse.
Get sleepy during the day, around afternoons.

Both ears, all the time high pitch sound.

Dandruff in scalp. Somewhat Itchy scalp. Feel better with oil.

Quantity of food - try to manage how much he eats - control quantity.

Occasional rumbling sound in abdomen when hungry.
Gas after food.
Urinate 6-8 times during the day.
blood in stool from hemmorhoid, happens once in a while.

Many years ago, had stiffness in chest muscles and was taken to doctor. Light headedness/dizzy during the same time. Felt a bit light headed today.

Sciatica returns sometimes, was back yesterday due to prolonged driving.
Feeling weak today.

Doctor gave him Zithromax antibiotic for 10 days after he was told of blood in urine. Took 1st dose today.

Please address the following:

1) Since he is on Zithromax which is a very strong antibiotic, is it prudent to stop it after his 2nd dose, wouldn't that create new problem?

2) Since 'blood in urine' is also a symptom for Lycopodium profile, does this have something to do with the incomplete Lycopodium treatment? Also the fact that he still has urge for alcohol every day.

He wants to continue his antibiotic course- it ends on Thursday Apr 4, can he use Terebinthina while he is taking antibiotic?

He has just been diagnosed with Kidney stone. Has not started Terebinthina yet. What should he take?

We looked up the Remedy Finder on this website. Lycopodium is indicated. He is taking 1 pill of Lyc 200 after dissolving in 1 cup water, thrice daily. for 2 days.

for the record: ultra sound has also shown urine retained in bladder, and prostate is enlarged.

We were told that the size of the kidney stone is about 2 cm.

Took Lycopodium 200 dissolved in 1 cup of water:
Tuesday: 1 pill 3 times a day
Wednesday - Thursday: 2 pills 3 times a day.
stopped lyc for now.

Started berberis vulgaris 30c:
Friday: 2 pills afternoon and 2 pills at night.

We were informed by the doctor that the size of the kidney stone is 8mm (and not 2cm as previously thought, that was an error).

Pls explain: does he have to drink the entire 50ml in 1 day as in 25 ml 1st time, and then 25 ml for the 2nd time?

or 50 ml x two times each per day? as in 50 ml followed by 50 ml?

this is regarding the following advice:
'15 drops of this in 50ml of water shall be taken two times a day. This needs to be continued for 4 weeks'.

Also - he will be traveling for work today and the next few days, should he still take it or should he take it after he returns - I wasn't sure if he will experience any effects during work-travel. Should he expect any particular effects from the doses? If he knows in advance he might be better prepared. Please advise. Thank you.
