it has been 2 weeks since I took the dose of silicea. Face is still oily, maybe not as much as when we first began, but still too oily (i.e. not normal). Now you said this is a long process... how do you define 'long'? I just want to make sure I don't allow too much time to pass. Thanks

just wondering how long you typically wait in homeopathy until deciding the next step?
Perhaps another single dose one morning of sulphur, and next day single dose of silicea and wait??
I don't want to seem impatient, I am just uneducated how long one waits in homeopathy when it comes to dosing and symptoms....

Dr. B, I have not heard back from you in a while, are you still willing to guide me through the rest of this cure?
In the mean time, my face began to get very oily again, so I did you initial suggestion again. I took one morning dose of 200C sulphur on Friday morning, and then one morning dose of silicea on Saturday morning, both on an empty stomach, and now I will do nothing and see what happens again. That was 4 weeks from the initial doses to this dose. My oily skin did improve even though it was till oily, just not as bad, but beginning that 4th week (Aug31) I began getting really oily face and by Wednesday my neck was oily too. So I decided it must be time to treat again.
I was hoping this would help the hair from falling out too, but that has not stopped at all (I am not balding at all, I just lose about a handful of hair each day).
I hope to hear from you soon, so we can work together on this oil issue, and if you could read back over the additional questions I posted on this thread too.

Hey sorry for the delay in response, i was battling a very bad chest infection all week.
Well actual waiting in homeopathy depends on many things as you have rightly pointed out if the symptoms increase massively immediately after the medicine you will have to wait till it subsides, then in your case i am little hesitant to start the other course is because you say that initially there was better response and now even your neck gets oily, which i think we did not see before. we will wait for a weeks time now, if there is no desirable change then we will retake your case again and then evaluate it further and then will get to a remedy, so hold on for one more week, hope this answers your questions. contact me if you need any more clarifications.

can you explain the problems you have right now,
explain them like when is it more and less associated with other changes at the physical level like appettie, thirst, sweat, stools and urine.

hey here are the remedies for you, wait for 15 days and then report.
Mercuries sol 6c (4-6 drops every 12 hours).
Nat mur 200 only one dose early morning empty stomach.
we will see after a weeks time and the max time limit is 15 days to see a better result.

I just received the mercuries sol in the mail today. So I will begin the treatment tomorrow morning (9-19-09) and then report back after week as you said.
Should I take the merc sol drops in a teaspoon of water like the bottle says, or just the drops alone under my tongue?

Is it ok to do that while I am on the merc sol you have me doing? Or do I need to wait?

Hey i have already taken your herpes into account and thats why the remedy merc sol came up, do not add nat sulph, both of them have the same background and these medicines should not be used in such high potencies at the very start.
good that you asked me, the remedy nat sulph corresponds to merc sol and infact the later is more effective than the other, and 10M is very very very powerful, so one should be extremely careful while giving it.
If you are not aware homeopathy is taking everything into consideration, so hold on we will get things sorted.

I will not take that. I didn't realize you were trying to cure my herpes too, I just thought we were working towards getting rid of this oily oily face.
I will only do what you tell me and take what you recommend. I am just trying to be healed. My face is still oily and I have a herpes outbreak that makes me want to cry. I had been very careful and trusted someone after months of knowing him but he was not honest and transmitted the virus.
I am on 3rd day of merc sol.

oh that is sad, i thought you had latent herpes(not active), anyways can you explain more symptoms of this episode, like pain or discharge or erruptions etc.

The HSV2 was latent for 18 years and then near the end of 2007 it became active. I had not had an out break for about a year again, but just got one about a week ago. It consists of genital burning, soreness, itchiness, slight swelling, and a watery discharge. I believe stress brings it on, but I am actively seeking a cure to eliminate the virus from my body. I keep reading that there is NO cure, but I feel like there is.

ok to get out of the acute phase take graphitis 30C liquid (4 drops in the morning and 4 at night) you can take the other medicines along with this do not worry.

ok as far as herpes is concerned, order, ars alb 200C, sulphur 1M, phosphorus 200C and keep we will have to use them in some point of time in the treatment.

Hey Dr. B, today was last day of the merc sol. I can't say I have noticed much of a difference in the oily face and also have had the herpes outbreak during this entire week as well. My herpes OB seems to be almost gone maybe in a few more days, and the oily face has not been terrible, but is still more oily than what is normal.

The herpes outbreak has subsided for the most part right now. I did not take the graphitis because I did not get to purchase it yet. I was kind of holding off to hear back from you again about the oily face in case you wanted me to purchase another remedy.
So for the oily face I will do one day of the nat mur and then 10 days of the merc sol. I will go ahead and purchase the remedies you said I will need for the herpes cure.
