Horrible, red stretch marks
Hi,I'm a 18 yr. female looking for a remedy for some really dark thick stretch marks. I have them on my inner theighs, on my breasts, and on my buttucks. I am pale and they are unsightly and are showing up more often with very little weight gain. Also, I don't think it runs in the family. I'm allergic to sulfa drugs if thats important, but i'm not taking any medications at the moment - thanks in advance!

Have you been tested for cushings syndrome? That is a classic sign when the stretch marks are thick and purpleish red. You are very young to get that especially if you have them without a pregnancy. Other symptoms are a moon face, buffalo hump, acanthosis nigrans, and weight gain in your upper body and muscle wasting in your lower body and limbs. I just thought I would add this...... if these symptoms fit go to an endocrinologist ASAP!
