I will do it in a seperate thread.

Out of the 280 odd postultes of Hannemann, some 30 to 40 are to be highlighted,as others are mostly theory, which all of us agree.

what is current status?

Hi John,

Thanks for asking; gave baby calc phos 30c on friday night. Sleep is still restless to date but I tend to think that is because of her having separation anxiety; she likes to be with us,esp when she is with babysitter during the day and then home with us in the evenings. Teeth has finally finally erupted and the one next to it is starting to come through as well. Appetite has returned slowly and she is sort of taking her normal food intake levels since yesterday.

Feel very tempted to give her chamomilia 30c again to see if it helps with her anxiety and restlessness at night. Just remembered she bumped her head on the floor while crawling and trying to sit during the time the restlessness came about too; not sure if it affects. She sometimes hits her head, mostly on the right side; don't know what this means; pain, headache??

no chamomilla 30c----
no repetition calc-ph 30c --just be patient---i know you care for child's welfare...

how mobile is child at this time?please explain

how severe head bumping?

how long?when start? child hitting head sometimes?

what vaccinations/immunizations child have?when?

John Stanton last decade
Immunisation -
Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis
Polio

She bumped her head on the floor, and especially when daddy was carrying her and she was tossing around and hit her head on the side of the door frame. That did hurt and she had a bump on her head for two weeks. On her right temple.

Hitting head, she does that sometimes when she is trying to sleep while sucking her thumb. Slept with her last night and realized she has nightmare like cries. She cries when she is still asleeep and will toss and turn and cry until she sleeps again.

She is crawling and is standing in her cot. Since taking calc phos, her teething rashes have come out full force on her cheeks.

Forgot to add that she has become quite clingy too - needs to be around us otherwise she will cry and shout for attention. Kind of like a pulsatilla type?

isabellesmom last decade
when has clingy-ness began? this also a chamomila characteristic...

when exacvtly did bumps occur?

John Stanton last decade
what is child's current (of lately) sleeping position?

please explain in detail --child's diet (food and drinks)...

how well does child and baby sitter get along?child remain calm with baby sitter?

does child stop crying when carried?

John Stanton last decade
That big bump on door frame was about two months ago when she was about 61/2 months and not quite yet crawling.

Babysitter is good - gets along with baby fantastically. Baby prefers to sleep on tummy; she will toss and turn and will end up on tummy or side, especially on right side. Not so much on her left. She drinks water, filtered, food wise, she is on rice porridge and teething rusks. She is calm with babysitter - that's why I think its more a growing up tantrum thing. She will stop when carried. Last night hubby tried to put her to sleep; she cried hard for half an hour and when I picked her up, she stopped immediately. Put her on my arms and she fell asleep in ten minutes. Once she lays on her bed, she will turn over in a second. She will end up sitting or standing. We have to hold her down and it's not becoming a pleasant bedtime routine.

isabellesmom last decade
baby's routine is sort of like that...

Formula at 6 am
Rice porridge at 8.30-9 am
Formula at 11-12
Bathtime
Naptime
Rice porridge 2-4pm
Formula 5-7 pm
Before bedtime formula.

She is alert and happy otherwise and during the day, babysitter doesn't have much problem putting her to bed; just nights.....

go up in potency with chamomilla

single dose (3 pellets) "only" chamomilla 200c----no repetition at all

be sure all acid foods/drinks are removed from diet as described...

keep me closely informed

John Stanton last decade
Could there be a chance that she might go in the reverse with the 200c dosage - like be more clingy and restless etc. what sort of reaction should I expect from her with this 200c dosage?

isabellesmom last decade
too many pointers to chamomila for me to ignore...

if acids are not being used in her diet...and clinginesss has been occuring even before chamomilla 30c was ever given, then chamomilla 200c is in order..but clarify if anything i mentioned is not correct...

a good response shall be good sleep --and will see cahnge in stool/urine characteristics--an elimination of unwanted toxins..

yet this will be left to be observed...

Do you think bump on the head is anything to worry about? Headaches? Her frontal lobe is still not fully closed in; small triangle of area.

Good sleep would be a welcomed change - like I said, slept with her and in about 4 hours, have been woken about 6 times by her crying and tossing. Poor thing.... not sure if its teething pains or just nightmares or just part of growing pains.

Clinginess started when she started noticing and recognizing people. Before chamomilia 30c was given for sure. We just thought it was the immunisation; am paranoid about baby having ADD because of immunisation.

thanks john, will post and let you know outcome. Hopefully change will come about soon.

John !

Maybe handle the "acute" first and the "chronic" later.

hold on --wait no chamomila yet--fontenelles not closed is indicative of calc..

with reference to head being bumped...can you touch area without child pulling away?did clingyness start after bump?sleeplessness after bump? please explain all current symptomology with reference to bumping--before and after...etc

John Stanton last decade
please describe exact food and drink child uses..everything you know for sure..

John Stanton last decade
yeah, clinginess did start after the bump and the sleeplessness did start after the bump too; but not immediately though. that was why we put it to growing pains and teething pains. It was about the time she had her immunisation and her flu thing and so everything kind of happened together. I was concerned enough to want to take her to an osteopath to have it checked out but daddy thinks I am paranoid, so didn't do it.

I can touch area without her pulling away, it was tender for a while, her babysitter was telling me I should have rubbed some ointment onto it because the area was soft and tender for a while. That area's a bit more tender than others to touch.

isabellesmom last decade
Not sure if this is anything but when she was sleeping with me last night; I was cradling her and her head was warm (she has little hair) but her face was cool to touch. The back of head is pretty warm and the front cooler but her whole face was cool.

she's very fair; born without much hair and whilst it is growing back, it's still very little, sparse.

As for food, most of what I wrote before is what I know. She has different things cooked with rice porridge, meat, chicken, carrots.

isabellesmom last decade
Yes John I also noticed the need for Cal. Carb. because of fontelles not closed yet.

Maybe let the child take some more doses (frequency)of Chammomilla 30 until the current teething stage is managed then go to Cal. Carb.

That's why I had suggested "acute" first and the "chronic" little later.

Best,
Pankaj Varma
