Hair loss/Acne
Beginning in July of this year my skin started to break out with what I originaly though was acne. Now I am not so sure. I get what appears to be acne like bumps on my face. They are painful and causes my face to itch like crazy. The bumps grow to be quite large and look reddish. They are also hard. Last for weeks at a time and then just disappear only to come back again. I am also losing my hair. Extremely thin on the top and sides. I hate to comb my hair because so much of it comes out from combing. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in March 03 and with Hypothyroid in Dec. 03. I am currently seeing a N.D. and for a brief period of time I was feeling better. Any advice for help. I would greatly appreciate it.zicharles on 2004-10-05

I believe that you are suffering from Rosacea, judging from the symptoms that you have listed.
You can use Arnica 6c for your ailment and this remedy is also very effective to arrest the loss of hair. I usually recommend Vitamin E 400 IU's to be taken with a Cod liver Oil capsule daily for Alopecia but I do not know how the Vit E will react with your Fibromyalgia and
Hypothyroid conditions.
The dose is 2 balls Arnica 6c taken 3 times daily. All Homeopathic remedies should be placed under the tongue for maximum effect and you should refrain from taking coffee, cola drinks and any preserved meats which contain saltpeter like bacon and sausages.
You should notice a marked reduction in the loss of hair on your towel after a shower in 2 weeks and you should be able to see the new growth of hair in about 6 weeks.
The Rosacea should clear up in about a week. Please post your response to this medication on this BB.
