Nice to here about the relief your wife got.Normally,low potency drugs take time to establish themselves,particularly in chronic cases.I am glad you tried for enough time.
This is what Vithoulkus also suggests.For aged people,he says start with 6c,and use continuously for a month.I don't want to preempt whatever suggestion Pankaj may give you,by telling you further on what Vithoulkus says.
I strongly recommend you to buy the book "Science of Homeopathy" since you are so much interested in Homeopathy.

It is a great relief for me also to know that the med worked for her.
I was sure of the identification of the pattern of the symptoms.
Try reducing the frequency of Bryonia 6....if the pain returns....means she needs more medicine.
Kali Phos and Ferrum Phos are like tonics. However, give only after a gap of one hour from time she takes Bryonia.
Kali Ph. and Ferrum Ph. can be taken together.

Dear Pankaj,
I am delighted to inform you that Hermie's knee problem is now under control. The Bryonia 6 that she is taking with Ferr Phos and Kali Phos, which are taken separately seem to have the same effect as the Voltaren which she has not taken since Oct 19th.
The knee is not swollen any more and there is no pain or discomfort except when she climbs or steps down a steep step around a foot high when her knee protests and there is slight pain which resolves itself within a day.
The great advantage is that she is not poisoning herself anymore by taking the Voltaren which she has used for many years, not on a daily basis but whenever she felt the need which was when the pain bothered her. I shall let her take the 3 remedies for some time in the future and shall keep you adviced of her progress.
Thank you once again for thinking of Bryonia which was a life saver for Hermie.

I had a problem with right knee.No swelling,but pain and cracking noises on walking,and moving the leg.Causticum is the medicine for me.
I started taking the medicine,by olfaction,every day,since the last 20 days, and now I am 80% improved.
Looks like,for chronic problems,like these,it is better to repeat the medicine everyday.Of course,I increase the potency,slightly,every time,by succuussing it 100 times,before every use.I am using the liquid.
Once,relief is total,I think we can taper off slowly.
Nice to hear that Voltaren is stopped.

I am using Causticum 30.
I don't have any eye and bladder symtoms,but lot of mental and physical symtoms tally.
I get anxious and worry about my childern,till I here that they reached their destination safely.
I bite my tongue and cheeks frequently,while eating.
I get cramps in night,particularly in calves.
My right knee used to pain while walking,with a cracking noise.
I used to have a heel pain(calcareous spur),first on my left heel.Now,the left heel is aboslutely ok,but the problem got shofted to right heel.
I started experimenting with olfaction daily,without stopping coffee,as an experiment,and as I told,I am much better now.

Hi and greetings to all the readers.
I wish to share my wonderful experience of "Bryonia Q" with the readers. Over six months back I was diagonised with osteroarthritis as I had lot of pain in my legs and I found it hard to walk even half a kilometer. I was prescribed allopathic pain killers which I was not keen to take due to their side effects. However, I started taking a drop of Brynia Q with two table spoons of water very early in the morning evry day and found quite a bit of relief. Meanwhile, I started using a capsule each of Palsinuron (an ayurvedic medicine)(the contents of capsule are mixed with a spoonful of honey)each day to give strength to the muscles. By the grace of God both these medicines have worked like a magic for me and I am able to walk freely. I do have arthritis in my back but there is no relief with these medicines.
This is just my experience as a layman and if someone wants to try is most welcome to do so at his/her own risk. However, if some people do get relief in this way they should not hesitate to share their experiences with the readers.
