Hair loss from a middle-aged mum
Hi, I am Sammie - middle-aged. I was told about Homeopathy today and this is my first time logging into this forum.My hair has started to thin since 8 years ago when I was under tremendous stress and was also going thru menopause. I am now left with only about 50% of my usual hair thickness. My hair used to be very silky and manageable. It is now quite dry and thinning more and more as I get on in years. Age spots have also started to surface on my arms and legs and pigmentations appearing on my face too (which I never have until this year). If anyone out there knows of a remedy for my conditions, please help! Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have been successful in controlling the loss of hair in many cases with Arnica 6c to be taken with any good Fish liver oil and Vitamin E.
Dose 2 balls Arnica 6c 3 times daily. 1 capsule FIsh oil and Vit E daily.
You should notice a reduction of your hair loss in 2 weeks and new growth should be visible in about a month.
Suggest you also read the many other posts on this BB on the same subject.

I have discovered that Arnica 6 is more potent in controlling the hair loss in a few cases that I have treated here in Colombo.
Since you have been taking Arnica 30 for some time and I presume that it has helped to control your hair loss, I suggest that you stay with it.
In the meanwhile, please let me know your current status. Have you noticed any reduction in the loss of your hair and any new growth >

I too read in the literature about Arnica';s ability to control hair loss.All along I have been thinking it will be more useful if used in hair oil.In India,we have so many types of Arnica hair oils.
Joe,do you feel these are useless,and the best is to use arnica 6c?

I cannot comment on the Hair Oils but I have discovered that Arnica 6 supported by Vit E and Fish Oil capsules promote the loss and later the growth, of hair. A good example is my own head of hair which although almost fully grey is still good at age 75. I have also treated some cases here in Colombo and they all have shown positive results.
I shall be interested to see reference to Hair in the literature that you have indicated.

Yes.It is in Clarke.(A dictionary of practical materia medica)

Good to know that the local use of Arnica has been found to promote growth of hair by Clarke. Its use both externally and internally should promote the growth of hair and it would be of interest if those who use it will please post their results on this BB.

Arnica Montana is a plant also known as Leopard's Bane which has a yellow, daily like flower, the extract of which is used to make the Homeopathic remedy.
