if this is same daughter with "ear itching" and have given sulpher this could be part of 'circumstantial/constitutional' effect ..

ledum -hypericum- are the typical remedies for such wounds---but need more symptom clarifications--

what is child's mental/emotional state?

My elder daughter who is 9 yrs old has ear itching. This is my younger daughter who is 2 years old.
I remeber reading in a homeo book that for sharp objext cuts we can use staphysagria. can i use it?
Because i have only that in handy(30c}. How to use it how many pills i can give her and how often?

1-2 pellets single dose "only" --wait observe

staph is more --lacerations--ledum may be more appropriate but depend on how child react and modalities..

The itching is just due to the wound healing.

Agree with John. Ledum

Also usually ear piercing requires alcohol to keep clean.

She is young, itching could mean several things.

Also chance of sensitive to metal earings. Red is because of the pierce, but swelling and itch and angry looking may be forunner of infection.

Keep an eye on it and report any changes....Sabra

John is right.

Ledum and hypericum. In homeopathy one medicine can't substitute the other.

Staphysagria is for cuts with sharp instruments like, blades, operations etc.

Yes.It frequently happens for acute problems. All most all prescribers will suggest the same medicine.

The situation is different for chronic and complicated problems.

The first prescription itself may differ from one to other, but, both may be capable of curing the patient,by selecting the correct complimentaries and followers.

That is why homeopathy is so interesting and so challenging.
