I WILL CHECK FOR IPEC Q NOW.
the order I put in for it last month got cancelled.

Xtampza, and he has been taking OxyContin.

Cosmosis 3 weeks ago
I am trying like hell to get the Ipec Q anywhere in reasonable time. They cancelled my delivery close to the estimated delivery date or I would have it. Sigh.

We’ve cut his medication in half for now.

He is fluctuating, stuck in a half-daze and dream-state and coming out of it, but sinking back again.

After 10+ incremental doses of Ipec 30 he was waking, had an appetite, and was regaining some strength, but now he is stuck again.

He is restless against the weakness and has awareness inside of this daze, a lot like he was experiencing a month ago. We will continue to dose until we see the rebound stabilizing.

———

A while ago I made a list of remedies that support secondary effects of morphine/opium, but I don’t know if they would apply here for the oxy/xtampza medications.

I’ll list the remedies I have for these effects (based on my amateur studies) in case it is meaningful.

Aconite 6x, 30c, 1m
Aethusa 200c
Avena Sativa 30c
Argentum Nit 30c, 200c, 1m, 10m
Belladonna 3c, 6c, 30c, 200c
Chamomilla 30c
Hyoscyamus Niger 6x
Merc. Sol 200c
Sulphur 30c, 200c
Veratrum Album 30c
And I have Ipec 6x ((but when I administered it a couple weeks ago it didn’t seem to help, and may have worsened if that makes sense? (Maybe I associated the wrong symptoms to it))

Or I may have another if you have one in mind. Please ask if that’s the case.

((Note: I suffer from OCD and am on the Autism spectrum. Over 3 years time I’ve attained many remedies in “preparation for” circumstances as a coping mechanism. I am not carelessly administering these to anyone.))

GIVE A DOSE OF TABACUM 200 AND SEE.

anuj srivastava 3 weeks ago
Oh, the irony- I don’t have these 2 crucial prescriptions.
Tabacum 200 and Ipec Q is ordered but will take 2-3 days.
Very frustrating beyond words, but I deeply appreciate your efforts.

In his great need for help I dosed him with Lyco 30 and another Ipec dose. First his hip pain set in as he became more aware, then he had a bowel movement within 10 mins, and he was able to walk to the bathroom.

Does Lobelia inflata 30c compare?
I have arsenicum album 30c and 1m.
and Veratrum album 30c.
And Camphora 30c.

Please forgive my throwing things at the wall here.
I’ll study more closely before I ask about further remedies.

I am quite relieved to see him coordinate himself to go to the bathroom. I’ll update if/when symptoms develop.
I’m very appreciative and open to any further suggestions.
Thank you, thank you.

NONE RECOMMENDED.

Understood.

He’s been opting to sit in a chair; he wanted music (videos) playing on YouTube, and ate 3 ice pops. He was finally able to answer that his stomach is a 6/10 on his pain scale.

I’ve given him about 4 sips of mag phos 6x water as well.

But his status started backsliding about 15 minutes ago.

He’s now starting to nod off again, but still able to be jarred out of it for some cooperation before nodding again.

Should I consider one more or multiple lycopodium doses? Anything I can do, doctor
I will also understand if we are simply stuck without Ipec Q and Tabacum.
Thank you.

-He is now back to sitting on the floor.

-He’s allowing me to give him some support with pillows.

-Can’t annunciate his words.

-Sighing is a pattern.

-He’s very frustrated with my Mom and not cooperating well with her. They have many relationship issues but it’s out of character for him to be this resistant. His state reminds me of his initial status in the beginning of March.

GIVE NUX AS OF NOW A COUPLE OF TIMES.

anuj srivastava 3 weeks ago
I’ve been doing a couple doses of NUX30 when he needs momentum out of this daze.

Still giving Nux 3 times per day, but then another dose or two after that to help him once he feels a slight improvement but can’t improve further until we re-dose.

As well as Ipec 30. It all does seem to help for about an hour or less.

I have Tabacum 30 for now, and tomorrow I’ll have Tabacum 200c. How can//or should I use the Tab30?

The ipec Q is still a few days away. -_-
Any suggestion or guidance please.

Thank you, doctor!

Tabacum GIVE THREE DOSES.STOP ALL OTHER REMEDIES AND GIVE A FEEDBACK.

anuj srivastava 3 weeks ago
To be clear do you mean 3 doses given throughout the night, every 4ish hours?

Okay I’ve given him the first dose.

I’m not sure if he’s now sleeping as a result of the Tab30, or if he was going to get drowsy again regardless. He’s been up and down incrementally today. My mom reported he ate a meal in early afternoon.

We are still giving him somewhat-reduced pain medication for his shoulders and hip pain as he requests, and while he is still sedated and doesn’t have strength in his legs when he walks, it seems he’s not as sensitive to his oxycontin today as he was yesterday. He does have more strength in his arms and core today as well.

::Edit//Added several minutes later:;
He is now sleeping in a way appears restful, and with some twitching. For the last couple of days he couldn’t get meaningful sleep; he would jump awake, stir from sound but not wake up fully, or wake up and sit up restlessly. This improved sleep is new. Thank you doctor.

anuj srivastava 3 weeks ago
A lot of improvement from last night through today

-He had two meals AM and PM
-Handled his pain medication much better
-Was still tired off and on, but not nodding.
-Stomach maintained 5/10 all day. “Not too bad”.
-Mood was more stable; found some lightheartedness
-Enunciation is better
-Able to carry conversation; some of his wit has returned
-Strength in legs improved (though dealing with moderate atrophy issues); able to walk again, and is careful to maintain balance.

-A LOT of shoulder pain at 8/10. Requires pain control for this if at all possible (unless patience is the key)

I have the Tabacum 200 now for whenever/if ever you feel appropriate.

*Should I continue the Tabacum 30?

Thank you infinitely

His stomach seems to get upset after taking his pain meds.
We could never tell because it was always hurting. Now we have comparison to feeling better/worse. I’m sure that’s been the case for a while now.

-He took OxyContin an hour ago and now he has a 60/40 nausea/pain ratio for his stomach. For that discomfort he is restless and can’t get comfortable. (I’m sure for many reasons)

-He is NOT losing consciousness//awareness as a result of taking his pain meds.

-I just gave him Tab30 a little sooner than his evening dose in hopes it would help. He said it started changing direction toward feeling better but is stalling for now. We will see.

-He is now considering Pranayam again- my sister will visit for a few days and I think her being here will help with his motivation to try it.

-He’s sitting in the living room today on the couch in a semi-upright position, which is fantastic. And he chose his program to watch on TV attentively- until his stomach was triggered. Now he is distracted but he’s coping. Calling it a “rough patch”.

((He has nearly died many times now, and he bounces back with an ability to thrive rather than just furthering suffering. Thank you for all of your work with us. Our story would be very different without your help))

Thank you the Nux has helped!

::Tabacum200::

This morning we tried Tab200, and over the 3 hours following he developed an unstable mood, was deeply affected by his pain level, and sensitive to noise among other nuances.

I was not able to consult you first as I wanted, so I gave him Tab30 again (my thought process being that the lower potency should antidote the negative reaction and restore the support he had been getting from Tabacum).

I’m reporting this now that I have the time/ability, and I’m hoping I haven’t messed up your intended direction for my Dad. Some of his symptoms did improve again, but please correct my thinking if necessary. >.<

::NuxVom30::

We utilized Nux once today after a dose of OxyContin (that is his instant release pain medication). His stomach is stable at 5/10, which he calls “tolerable” and “not too bad”.

::Navigating morphine again::

He has been asked to try Morphine again, at a lower dose (30mg), in long-acting form. The dose that ruined his body weeks ago was 100mg long-acting.

He is on day 2 of the 30mg, and so far he seems to be handling it well; he’s tired yet aware. I am not sure which symptoms developed with the Tab200, and which could be gaining momentum from the morphine, so we will see how he is the next few days. His original sensitivity to the morphine did require a few days to suppress his awareness and functionality. I am nervous.

Today’s symptoms/changes:
-His voice sounds more hollow, a bit raspy.
-He’s had no appetite today; unable to eat.
-His mood is more melancholy.
-He’s spacing out a bit.
-More thirsty for my Mom’s homemade black tea.
-Dad has found the way to describe his stomach pain as a “halo” of pain (alongside nausea). It does make sense for what he’s enduring.

I’ll update if I remember anything else.

——-

*Ipecac Q is on its way to me by next week. For now I still have Ipec 30. Would that be the support I turn to for a seemingly-morphine-specific spiral?

*Can I continue the Tabacum 30, 3xdaily?

Doctor would you please consider Chelidonium majus (30c?) for my Dad’s neck, back, shoulder, abdominal pain?

In the case that his liver may be the source of his most severe pain issues, this could improve quality of life if you see fit.

((The Kalmia 9c did not appear to help after trying it for a day.
Nor did the 30c))

Thank you for every valuable moment of your time.

IPECAC AND TAB SHOULD BE TRIED.ADMINISTER WHICH EVER IS SSUITING HIM.THEY ANTIDOTE THE ILL EFFECT OF MORPHINE.ANOTHER REMEDY WHICH IS GOOD IS COFFEA.GIVE IN 30 POTENCY AND SEE.

anuj srivastava 2 weeks ago
Thank you doctor- the Coffea cruda helped a lot in a moment of extreme pain; and it helped him through morphine daze for a couple of hours but couldn’t maintain that help. That was two days ago and he hasn’t had it since. May apply now?

-His doctors and my mom are finally on the same page with me about the morphine issues; it’s messing up his quality of life and the pain it causes is outweighing any relief.

—-Update—-

-Since yesterday afternoon he has been at the clinic while they experiment with other pain medications to replace the morphine treatment. He will be there until tomorrow and then return home. He was aware to make that decision himself, and he’s fully aware of this process.

-He is still taking his OxyContin 30mg with success, and he is now on Dilaudid. I just spoke to him and he sounds MUCH clearer, much more aware, and he is able to describe/rate the remaining pain.

——Symptom Information——

-Shoulder+neck pain is 6/10

-Stomach pain is summed up as 6/10

-Lower back pain 7/10

-Mild restlessness

-Appetite has partially rebounded and he’s driven to eat a burger

-Some trouble swallowing but not with smaller bites

-He dozes off while thinking if it’s a more complex thought that needs pondering. He snaps back remembering the question he was asked/where he left off.

-General fleeting itchiness; mild

-Tremors are rated as the milder side of “moderate”

-His voice sounds much stronger, diaphragm engaged and bass in tact. His spirit and tone as a loving father comes through beautifully.

—-Guidance—-

-Considering the Dilauded and his particular complaints, do you suggest trying Coffea, Nux, or Ipecac first? ((He hasn’t had a remedy in 24 hours as I wanted them to see what works best without the interference of complementary treatment))

-The Tabacum 30c will arrive today if that is relevant. I ran out yesterday morning without realizing the need for refill.

-Could we consider Chelidonium 6c or 30c for his lower back pain? I have those potencies specifically.

-I am open to any other suggestions

Thank you infinitely for your time.
Every moment of relief and contentment you’re providing is invaluable to us all.

Hey Doctor,

-April 20th was the day he left the clinic to come back home, and we had slow, steady success from the 20th to yesterday the 24th. His shoulder and stomach discomfort had been steady and controlled at 4-5 out of 10. He was in a stable, realistic mood, valuing his wellness, eating at least once if not twice a day with minor swallowing issues.

-He’s taking Dilaudid, and OxyContin specifically.

-We‘ve been administering Nux30 every 4ish hours with his OxyContin, and Ipecac 30 about 1x a day as needed when his med side effects would overwhelm.

-The Coffea cruda gave us strange reactions both times we tried it since then so I shelved it for the last 3 days.

-The Tabacum 30 and Chelidonium hadn’t seemed necessary since everything was working well.

——

::New developments since April 23rd::

-The day of the 23rd his nurse observed “a different JP”, doing much better, and she said it doesn’t appear to be a “rally” as it was in clear reaction to ridding the morphine. His delusions and hallucinations were gone and still seem to be gone, but he’s very groggy and moody when he feels pushed, rushed, or feels our concern kind of closing in.

-This nurse brought the valuable information (on the 23rd) that carbonated drinks helped other patients with swallowing, and it did help a LOT. Unfortunately, that means since the afternoon of the 23rd he isn’t drinking his homemade black tea with limited sugar that he’s been relying on religiously, and only ever wanting to drink, for nearly 2 years if not more. And I feel this current spiral has a lot to do with what the tea was doing to support him, and/or how he may be “withdrawing” from it as well.

-The night of the 23rd he started craving more medication than he was supposed to be taking (he had been content with it up to that moment)— and his mood started to shake a little at that time.

-We are still giving Nux30 every 3.5 to 4 hours, and Ipec30 has been given more often throughout yesterday afternoon and into today in hopes both (or either) would help him out of his tendency for rage-full reactions. Now they both seem to do very little for his current struggles. His swallowing has improved overall though.

—-
::Questions and Relevant info::

-Please any guidance whatsoever for how to handle this, or any changes that need to be made.

-Before I realized the tea would be a factor I gave him Lycopodium 30 and Ipec30 again. ((When Nux turned “unhelpful” in the past Lyco would help.)) That helped noticeably but not greatly- restoring some appetite and stabilizing mood a bit. So that’s where we are right now. I am talking to him about drinking tea along with the carbonated drinks, but I don’t know how this will pan out.

I will commit to being more engaged with you here from now on. I apologize if I’ve made anything more difficult for you (and ultimately him) for making decisions without guidance. We have had many family members coming in for support, and now I must focus again. He is very determined to regain this stability.

Should/could I try Coffea cruda again even after dosing Lyco30 today? Now that Coffea cruda might be relevant to his tea issue I hope I haven’t messed that up. I also have Coffea tosta if that’s helpful?

—-

Thank you doctor.

——

Edit: an hour later

-I forgot to mention his tremors have worsened suddenly and greatly between yesterday and today.

-He is showing signs of delusion/fogginess again.
The symptoms look exactly as they did in the past, and I haven’t tracked his tea-drinking to know if his lack of thirst has contributed to his spirals in the past. He has gone through bouts of thirstlessness before, but has rebounded one way or another with your guidance.

-He was trying to eat his remote when he meant to eat some chocolate. He didn’t want me to correct it.

-He’s been able to speak to the confusion most times today- like saying he felt like he was laying in a different bed today, but knowing he wasn’t. Then the remote thing happened and he didn’t acknowledge it.

***Today the Ipec Q finally arrived if that is relevant!

(and I also attained Nicotinum 30 in the same order)

He is now sleeping deeply, fairly uncooperative, and of course hasn’t improved. It looks exactly like the morphine stupor.

To be specific about his opiates: He’s on 4mg Dilaudid twice a day for 5 days now, and taking I think 60mg of OxyContin every 4 hours. He was stable and maintained full clarity before he switched the tea for carbonated drinks. That afternoon of the 23rd, about 6 hours later, it was a pretty stark decline. I feel quite sure, but please tell me your thoughts/suggestions.

Could his black tea have been part of what was sustaining him on all these meds?

*again I now have Ipec Q as of today
*I also have Cinnamomum 30 if that’s valuable.
I bought it just in case seeing it had similarities with Ipec, but I’m having trouble finding well-rounded information about it.
