Confusion about antidotes

Antidote is used to nullify the aggravation of a remedy. I am confused if one remedy is show some positive results (no matter there is aggravation or not) after that if we need to use next remedy that is antidote of 1st. Will it nullify the positive results of 1st?
For example Acid Phos is used and it gives some results but at the same time or after it we need Staphy because of some matching symptoms then Staphy will reverse the positive changes of Acid Phos?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes an antidote can be used for a strong aggravation but often aggravation means the potency was too high or too many doses were taken. You wait and let the aggravation wear off and then see if improvement shows up.
You wait until improvement stalls out before dosing again. If the remedy is a good match the intervals between doses should get longer.
Also note whether you are treating a chronic condition or an acute condition. But if you have a well matched remedy and it has cured some symptoms taking another remedy later listed as antidote should not take away good effects.
Example-homeopathy cured me of severe pollen allergies. It took a year with 3 different remedies.Since then I have had remedies that are listed as antidotes to prior remedies but my allergies have never returned.Read a Herings law of cure if you are treating chronic disease-see the pathway a good remedy match often takes.

Very useful reply and thanks.
Can you please tell me what is good source to find antidote relationship? I found contradiction on different sources for example in materia madica there is no antidote relationship between staphy and acid phos mentioned but on many sources this exists.

I think you probably read that article “Homeopathic Remedies and their Antidotes”-It has a good piece of advice-“There are no set rules” I follow Dr Luc De Schepper (retired homeopath) advice on dosing-find a well matched remedy and start with one dose 30c. Wait 8 hours to see if a reaction. If no reaction Try it one more time, if nothing remedy is probably wrong and you can try it as 200 and if still nothing forget that remedy. If there is a reaction to the 30c-good or bad then wait and watch what develops - wait until remedy actions stall out before dosing again.

Is there any rule of duration of antidote? For example acid phos is required with staphy then can we take acid phos 1st then a time gap (how much?) and take staphy?

I would not take two remedies even if a gap of 8 hours or 4 hours between them. I think it is fine to take a remedy and then take cell salts with a few hours gap to support your system. Bc the cell salts are actually trace minerals that balance out the cells.
The problem with Two or more remedies is you really don’t know what is doing what. The reason a well matched remedy cures is bc Hahnemann discovered that the body will not accept a similar disease. When you read the materia medica symptoms of a remedy these are all the things that showed up from healthy people volunteering to prove the remedy. When well matched the body amps up your life force to get rid of the highly diluted remedy and at the same time the life force is moving out the real disease. So if you start with a 30c and find things are improved or there is aggravation and then improvement ?then you adjust the dosing and potency depending on reactions.Maybe the remedy takes care of some things and then stalls out-then retake your case and find the next remedy.
I would never self prescribe multiple remedies for myself-some experienced prescribers do that with gaps etc .

Then what about my 1st msg? If I take acid phos for a chronic case and now need to take staphy for some days to get rid of some acute things then can I pause acid phos and take staphy then continue the acid phos for chronic case?

Yes you can try that. But you really need to give details about what is going on and have an experienced person weigh in.
