Hiposmia. Reduced ability to smell and taste

Hello everyone.

Im male 26 years old, 5.9ft and 95 kg.

I tested positive for covid-19 in April 2023 which included anosmia (loss of smell) as a sympton. After 9 months, my sense of smell improved considerably, but I still feel like my sense of smell didnt fully recover (hiposmia) and cant perceive scences of everyday life like I did before I caught covid. If I had to put in numbers, Id say about 80% is recovered.

If Im required to add information of interest such as health aspects or medicines taken, let me know it.

Sorry for my mistakes. Im not English native speaker.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What are the characteristics of your symptoms?

Are main symptoms accompanied by less acute symptoms?

Do your symptoms get better or worse under certain conditions?

1.- Perception of smell and taste reduced.

2.- I sometimes feel an itchy feeling around the nostrils and bottom of the nasal cavity that gives me an urge to sneeze, but I hold back them.

Also, I tend to get rhinitis periodically.

3.- I dont smoke, but when Im exposed to a quite amount of adulterated tobacco smoke and when as soon as I walk a considerable distance, my nose ends up like tired of smelling things. In these cases, the symptoms get worse. Also, they do when I wake up.

They get better arbitrarily.
