Crotalus Cascavella
I was recently prescribed with Crotalus Cascavella by a homeopathic doctor, because of mental issues Ive been experiencing. I can´t find much if any information online about this remedy or cases in which it is used. I want to know what does it do and how could it help me with my mental issues. MORAL AND MENTAL SPHERE
She answers no, whenever she is asked a question.
Sensitive mood.
Aversion to talking.
Sensation as if one were falling out of bed, even while awake.
Loss of consciousness.
She exclaims: he is in the lions den, but they will not bite him.
Magnetic state; she hears a strange voice, follows it and tilts against the doors; she has three such attacks, occasionally interrupted by laughter and tears.
Ineffectual desire to weep.
Loss of memory.
Magnetic state; she hears nothing, and sees a black skeleton.
Mania.
He think he will die, especially when alone.
Depression of spirits.
Despair.
Anguish.
Attempts to throw herself out of window; hurls herself against closed doors.
Sees the specter of death, as a gigantic black skeleton.
Gen
Hallucinations. Clairvoyance. Lancinating pains in various parts. Cold sensation in stomach.
Full of sensations, i.e. as if head and chest were compressed by iron weapon.
-chest is full of water.
-as if heart were dipped in liquids.
-something living is moving in head in a circle.
-hip to heel were shortened.
-the eye-balls were being taken out with a sharp knife.
-of an opening in stomach through which air passes.
-a nail were sticking in liver.
-a band round abdomen.
-cutting ; constricting; burning; pricking in throat and suffocation in chest.
-as if heart were beating from above downwards.
-of a lump in throat.
-coldness in stomach after eating.
-of red-hot iron at vertex.

She also told me to take it and contact her after two weeks to tell her what I felt during those two weeks. I have no idea what she meant by this. She said anything physical or emotional I might feel. I am pretty new to the homeopathy method of operating, so I don´t know what to expect. Should I be expecting to feel better? Maybe worse?

The Success of the prescription depends largely upon your ability to describe your symptoms. Let modesty not prevent a full statement.
WHATEVER IS NOT AS IT SHOULD BE IS A SYMPTOM AND MUST BE RECORDED.
LEARN THE ART OF DESCRIBING YOUR SYMPTOMS.

Make you reply in full giving all the particular examples to simply write. I have a headache, a backache, an eruption or a cough” would not be a guide in the selection of a homeopathic remedy.
Such statements are too general and do little good. It would be more guessing to select, one out of a little good.
It would be more guessing to select, one out of a possible hundred remedies.(UNLIKE ALLOPATHY WHERE ONLY THREE OR FOUR REMEDIES ARE THERE FOR HEADACHE,THERE ARE HUNDREDS IN HOMEOPATHY.)
But when you add to the above statement, “I have the headache, the individual peculiarities, “sharp shooting pains in the left side of the head and temple,” you simplify the selection of the remedy very much.
When you further add that ‘the pains always come on when the lightest cold air touches the head and the pains are much less when lying down or covering up the head warmly and much worse when rising up walking about or when the head becomes cool.
“You then state just what is required for the right selection of the remedy. THIS IS CALLED “INDIVIDUALIZING THE CASE.”
