HELP 3 month old baby hydronephrosis
hi allplease advice my homeopath has prescribed berberis for my 3 month old son who has right sided hydronphrosis... last ultrasound scan detected calculi in both kidneys. hes often uncomfortable in pain and cries. bends to right side .. often arches back in pain. wriggles round in sleep as if uncomfortable. only sleeps in my arms or on front.
is berberis right for my little boy??how quicxjly would i see an improvement???

Berberis is good for calculi. It needs to be taken for a period of time to get results. However a bit of background information would help---like what have been the problems during conception period, what happened around delivery and post delivery what happened in last three months.
There may be challenges in expelling calculi in babies. Presentation of your symptoms makes me think that a medicine --Dioscorea 30 would relieve the pain episode.
