continious fever

CONTINIOUS FEVER
MY SON aged 25 YRS is having fever 100degree F SINCE LAST five days THE fever comes down with paracetamol but starts rising again even TILL 103 at Times
Appears to be a VIRAL
Blood tests reveal platelets 120 instead of minimum 150
PL advised
