TMJ/TMD problems and health anxiety
Hi,I have been suffering with health anxiety for approximately 4 years.
Last year I lost my hearing in my right ear and I currently suffering with TMJ/TMD. I get numbness in my right side of face, mouth and tongue and suffer with headaches.
All of this makes my health anxiety worse.
I take aconite when I feel very panicky which does help.

What makes you feel better / worse? e.g pain while eating, drinking, feel better by cold / how application etc
About your anxiety;

Hi Tui,
Its like a burning pain aswell as numbness, it's not constant.
Ibuprofen helps, I think cold aggravates it. It's OK to eat. I have a dental splint that helps. Warmth makes me feel better.
My health anxiety increases my heart rate , I manage to calm myself down before it gets to a panick attack stage. I'm anxious about my health in general and focus on every twinge ache and pain and assume it's something life threatening.

I thought about Causticum too so if Platinum metallicum does not work at all, you can try Causticum.
