Have you ever tried the remedy Falco-pe ? Peregrine Falcon has the exact fears you have.
It also interesting to know that Falcon chicks often die from drowning (if they fall in water before they have learnt to fly). Given that this state has been there since childhood in you, I would think this feeling of drowning is a good match too.
I would try a single dose of Falco-pe 1M.

I will try it, in fact this remedy has been given to my mother in the past with good results, may be just a coincidence....
How long do i wait on the 1M dose?

Simone: In general The remedies had no clear effects....except for Tarentula and Stramonium where I did feel a Clear and profuond impact and thats why I keep trying....
