Dear Dr Evocationer,
Just wanted to mention to you that pregnancy with my daughter was stressful and not happy experience. After birth she did okay but almost never slept through the night without waking at night till almost 3 years of age. Then I talked with my husband and put her in our bed even if she wanted to be put to sleep in her room. She would not go to sleep by herself. I had to be by her side till she fell asleep. Then put her back to bed till she gets back to sleep if she went to the toilet.
I'm writing to you because I read a case of a three year old boy who wakes up and asks for toys at night.
My daughter did the samething.and before she could do this at below one year she would wake up and cry every hour. Be up in the morning by 6.00 with full energy.
I havent slept well in years now. It's 3.50 in the morning.
I'm waiting desperately for her to get back to health.

Hmmm...well it is probably best to repeat the Silicea. Seems like there are a few acute cough cases on the forum at the moment.
Is there any reason you can think of why she has relapsed? Anything that might have triggered it?

I have no clue why she has relapsed.
I was almost sure after the first dose with the improvement that I saw that she will be better in no time. It was a very big relief for me. Now she has already lost the 2 pounds that she gained during that time. She has starting to look a bit dark and bit pale too considering I am feeding her broccoli and sauerkraut.
She has a black chick peas and spinach for lunch in substantial amount. Ihave stopped the dairy. I don't think it's making any difference.
She has kind of ibs kind of thing which coincides with her throat contractions. What she says as cough being stuck is tightening of throat or upper lungs and mucus thins later if it doesn't move she wheezes.
Kindly advise if I need to give her another dose.
And forgive my asking again. Yesterday I gave her raw garlic 3 cloves with sour kraut. Hope raw garlic is okay to give her.

It's some relapse not complete and after the last cold that she had the inflammation in nostrils did not go away. It was then we have her second dose. But no improvement. Something kept her nostrils congested even when no discharge. Then started the throat constriction/ cough being stuck. And now wheezing and night coughs. This improve and worsen and improve and worsen but won't go completely.
Behaviourally she still has not relapsed completely. Could be said a 30% relapse of improvement last achieved has been reversed. But I'm starting to break as im lacking night sleep as I worry as she's all I care for about life she's the sole source of happiness and she's all that matters to me.

My daughter is wheezing again and a bit pale too. I don't think there has been any significant improvement since last one month that is after the second dose.
It is painful to watch her cough every day and breath difficultly at night. She has hardly had quality quiet breathing since a month.
Her sinus problems and wheezing could be allergies.
Kindly advise further. Very thankful for the help. I am very hopeful homeopathy will help her get better.

First step at the point is to give her a single dose of 1M. If this doesn't help her any further I will retake the case and represcribe.

Can't thank you enough for your response.
Her nasal congestion is much better since past 2 days sleep is improving. ApetiteAnd is good. Wheezing on and off and some coughing. I can wait some more time before the 1M and watch and give feed back.
Lack of sleep had become the main issue recently. That and cough been stuck while eating. And then wouldn't finish food. That's why she's back to old weight where she started lack of sleep n food.
Please kindly forgive my long posts. I will be placing order to get the 1M.

Now the only issues remaining are
1. Mouth breathing, noisy breathing, some nasal congestion. But able to sleep much better.
2. Cough or phlegm being in throat feeling or a feeling of throat being tight I guess. As per what she describes. Tightening is what we put in her mouth. She is very good at describing things and loves to do that. She only says my cough is stuck in the throat and it makes her gag sometimes.
3. Some cough and wheezing.
I still need to reply to my case questionnaire. I will work on it soon and put it up as my kid is doing better.

At first I considered giving her bromelain but then decided to just feed her pineapple everyday if that helps her breath better.
From yesterday I am feeding her pineapple for lunch dinner and breakfast after learning it helps in digestion and clearing sinus congestion and inflammation.
But I do think that it might be the silicea that she is responding to. Kindly read my previous comment and kindly advise.

Good morning Dr.
I had placed a order for the 1M last Thursday. It will arrive by thursday.
Meanwhile my daughter improved but on Friday lot of depression and crying at the drop of a hat. Next day (yesterday Saturday) morning got another attack of sinusitis. Greenish yellowing mucous more from right nostril. Low grade fever 99.5 max. Today it hit 100 but is under control. Mentally and emotionally doing very well. Slept well inspire of nasal congestion wall able to breath well at night.
The cough stuck is actually nasal mucous stuck in throat. Yesterday evening it got stuck.It's thick she's not able to spit. She did spit some greenish mucous and I saw it when she complained of nausea and went to vomit. But mostly unable to get it out. She did not eat dinner because of this and went to bed. That resulted in lot of phlegm and coughing today morning.
Today nasal discharge is clear but fever is about 100.
Kindly advise.

Recent update
My daughter had another sinus episode on may 1st saturday.
friday she cried at the drop of a hat and was difficult and saturday developed a cold. She had low fever but recovered fast. we did not give her anything but did saline rinses. she recovered by thursday.
Today the dryness in her palms is returning. she is sleeping okay but opens the mouth very wide by morning. does not snore much. Now she is earlier she used to sweat more on forehead and allover head. But now the head is soaking where she rests on the pillow.
She still has post nasal drip problem when she eats and drinks.
I saw red blood vessels on her a little bigger seeming tonsils. There is redness at the back of the throat.
So we visited the PCP and she said there's nothing.
The were a little bulged out in the morning and I could see the blood vessels on them.
She has prescribed Nasal over the counter steroid spray and anti histamines to rule out allergies as the cause for cough. I am not doing any of those.
As it was not known when you will be back I took advise from Dr. Rishimba who advised belladona 30c every four hours for 2 days. I just procured the medicine from the store.
I have noticed she's not doing now but used to bite her teeth when angry or upset.
Kindly advise further.

Just wanted to let you know that pressure is mounting on me to try those steroids and antihistamines. Just suggested by my husband that why dont we try those for a week then we will know if the cough goes away. I have refused to do that.

I would like to continue treatment with you as you are back.
