Adenoid hypertrophy

My son is 11 years old and he is diagnosed with Adenoid hypertrophy. His sleep is very disturbed due to breathing problem. Doctor has suggested a surgery. I learnt that there are good remedies in homeo due to which we can skip the surgery. Please help him to overcome it

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Describe the sensation in your own words.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same? Example- time, temperature, pressure, rubbing, washing, eating, tight clothing etc.


8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

20. Do you have any strange, peculiar or unusual symptom or feelings? How are you different from others?

1. Describe your main suffering? State the correct location.
Sinus, cold and cough. According to doctors he has enlarged tonsils when he was born. He used to get throat infection atleast 3 times a year and got admitted to hospital for high fever. I used homeo medications as prescribed by doctors. List is beldonna 30, 200, 1M for 3 years and now he doesnt get throat infection but allergic to seasonal changes. He sneezes and nose blocks when sits under fan or go out in windy atmosphere. I recently gave Thuja 200 once in a month for 3 months and 1M once in a month for 2 months. Conditions is still the same. His nose blocks in the evening and during all the night. We consulted an ENT surgeon and he had a Xray that read Adenoid hypertrophy

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
Nothing

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
He is sensitive to violent scenes in movies or around him. We used Argentum phosphoricum for his behavior.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Describe the sensation in your own words.
When ever he listens or watches such scenes, he is worried and doesnt want to be lonely.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?


6. Which time of the day you are worst?
evening till morning

potato fry, fryms, chips, sweets

normal

14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
normal

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?

under arms and stinks

normal

flat back in deep sleep

fair complexion and cant stress physically (may be due to adenoid only). worried abt injuries.

24. If your menstrual cycles are not normal, please describe the irregularities, like pains, moods, flow type, clots etc.

25. What major diseases have you had in your life and when. Please write them in a chronological manner.

How does he react to strangers?

Is he a warm person, or an cold person?

Is he a thirsty person, or he drinks little?

Can he have hot feet at night, sticking them outside the blanket?

(a) He accepts everything they do but complains after they leave.

Is he a warm person, or an cold person?
(a)He likes warm weather. He sweats a lot when strained physically.

Is he a thirsty person, or he
drinks little?
(a) He drinks lot of water during eating, between playing. Proportionately he urinates frequently.

Can he have hot feet at night, sticking them outside the blanket?
His feet and palms are relatively cold and wet.

Hello again.

I think you should try a homeopathic remedie called Pulsatilla.

Give him in potency 30C.

3-4 pills in a little water, let them disolve and stire.

Drink this water.
Take the medicine at least a half an houre be fore or after food.

Wait 2-3 days, then contact me again.

Hello Doctor,
Thanks for looking into this case.
I have given pulsatilla 30 1 dose and there is no visible difference. Currently he is suffering from below
1. Blocked nose during night
2. Irregular sleep due to enlarged adenoids
3. Voice is a bit changed as if with stuffed nose. His nose is not really stuffed.

Please prescribe to reduce his adenoid hypertrophy
