Arnica 30x cannot replace the 30c. However since you already have it in liquid form which I presume is in ethanol, you can put in just 2 drops of the remedy into a 500ml bottle of spring water and see if it will help you. I believe that 30x is roughly the equivalent of 6c and if I am correct it should help you.

It will certainly not fizz like soda but the idea is to succuss the bottle by banging it hard or twirling it violently in your hand to create the bubbles which is what this is all about.

Incidentally what is your ailment for which you are using Arnica ?

You may use the Arnica 30x you have as this is at least equivalent to 6c.

30X is roughly equivalent to 15C.

'x' is a dilution scale of 10.

'c' is a dilution scale of 100.

1x means diluted 10 times.Take one drop of it and dilute it 10 times more. You have 2x.

Since you have diluted the original substance 100 times by now,it is equal to 1c.

However dilution alone will not make a remedy potent.After each dilution, you have to succuss it. Assuming that you succuss 10 times after each dilution, 1x is succusssed 10 times,and 2x is succussed 20 times.

where as in case of 1c, though the dilution is equivalent to 2x, it is less succussed.(10 times only.)

So,2x is slightly more potent than 1c.

Now coming to the question of piles, Hamamelis is supposed to work better in case of bleeding piles.

Nux vomica is definitely one of the pile remedies.But there are so many like hamamelis, collinsonia, sulphur, causticum, which will be useful for different set of conditions.

Nux vomica works best in case of piles with constipation, and when the patient has 'frequent ineffectual desire to go to stool'.

It is good to see you back on this forum as I have only seen you on the Hpathy which I returned to recently.

Thank you for refreshing my mind about the potencies.

I knew that I had them in a text book but was feeling lazy to access it to get the exact potency equivalents.

I was coverted to the water dose by Luc de Schepper when he was with me last May and I am simply amazed at how effective it is in comparison to the dry globules that I used in common with the majority of other
homeopaths.

The water dose seems to be far milder in its impact on the body than the dry, while also being more effective. I was truly bowled over when I gave Arnica 1M for my 82 year old man who had lost all motor functions in his extremeties and this gave me the courage to experiment with the 21 year old boy who woke up in a week after he was started on Arnica 1M which was given in drops. You may have read the latest news from him, that he is now attempting to talk.

This is the thrill of Homeopathy that I enjoy where I use remedies that have been listed for many ailments in the texts which others would not dare use for a case like this for various reasons. I hope that they too will follow my example and use remedies as I do to treat the ailment which I feel can resolve an otherwise hopeless case successfully.

I have attracted a lot of criticism in my use of remedies but I believe that those who frequent the Homeopathic forums have now stopped to criticize and are now awaiting my next case, which may not turn out to be successful, merely to fault me as some especially on the NCH, delight doing for reasons that are best known to them.

Thank you for sharing your experience with remedies for Haemorrhoids. I have used all except Causticum but prefer Nux V 200 as it is fast in its response which is usualy overnight.
