Urine retention after TURP and extremely slow paced voiding
Hello respected doctors out there,Please help my dad who is suffering a lot every day. In August 2013 he under TURP though there was no swelling of his prostrate gland.
He is currently 58 yrs old and since the last 20 years he has had severe urinary problems. He is able to pass Urine very very slowly and it takes a lot of time to pass urine since his age of 40. we have done so many scans and scopies to find out what is the cause.
One of the Urologists suggested TURP as it will help increase the urine flow and speed and he underwent TURP last August. HOwever after TURP his situation has gone to worse. The speed of urine flow is at an all time low and also he is not able to void completely. Last week we took a scan and there was close to 150 ml urine post voiding
Another Urologist suggested scopy again to find out whats wrong as 150 ml urine post voiding is not good. One of the docs suggested he could have Neck obstruction or thickening of Bladder wall or strictures.
I'm clueless and my dad is suffering very badly due to this. Also, he doesnt want to undergo a scopy again as its hurting him very badly.
He has been on homeo medication but unfortunately there is no improvement. I do not know the name of the medicine thats prescribed as the homeopath whom we visit do not give the name of the medicine.
Can you suggest a good remedy to
1) increase the speed of his urination
2) reduce the frequency to pass urine
3) reduce the bladder retention
4) reduce the burning feeling

You can try Cantharis Q 10 drops in half cup of water daily two times and Belladonna 30 two times and Causticum 30 two times.

Are all these medicines to be taken on the same day?
And for how many days? And what is the gap between medicines?
Joseph, I would not go to any homeopath who won't tell you the medicines.
Ask that question before you make an appointment.

Lots of homeopaths in India do not give open prescription and one should not visit such homeopaths.
Regarding dosing of medicines told by me, Start with Bell 30 early in morning then after one hour take Canthris Q and then after one hour take Causticum 30. Same order should be repeated in evening.
Regarding duration, it will depend upon response to medicines.

Dear Usehomeopathy,
Pl think of conium 200 too .This stricture seems due to enlargement of prostate gland where conium stands as First remedy Which surprisingly takes care of burning too.
