Large Blister/Lump Under Tongue

As the subject states, I have a 1/4" in diameter bump under my tongue. It really didn't hurt at the beginning, but now, 2 weeks later, it is starting to cause soreness on my tongue. Though the soreness may have to do with talking "around" this bump. To describe it as best I can besides its size, there are white markings "inside" of the blister, with what looks like blood spots at the very peak of this blister.

I do have herpes, and have had it for about four years now. I've had very few outbreaks and NOTHING ever like this.

I've also noticed that salt irritates it very bad.

I recently started my own business and have no dental coverage as of yet, but I would like to know if there is a possible home-remedy for what I have, or if it's serious enough to visit a dentist.

I appreciate your time.

It may also help to take a course of Riboflavine tablets - ask the phamacist to give it to you- you do not need a prescription.

Deoshlok:
Thank you for your reply! I hope I don't sound silly here, but I haven't been taking any Lapis alb 30 or Kali Iod 30. I am hoping that these two medications will cure this lump/bump and if so, are they available at the pharmacy without a prescription?

New2Town:
Thank you as well for your reply. I will get to my nearest pharmacy and pick up some Riboflavin/B2 tablets and begin taking them.

Thanks again to both of you. I will get back to you both within 2 weeks time to update with any progress.

Again, I appreciate your time.
