Oh, and I meant of the Pulsatilla, 30c was what we just tried recently.

Actually just with only one dose having been given, give him 3 doses now, one each day.

OK, will do, he just got off to bed so I'll give him one in the morning.

I noticed one effect that he had right away was that he slept later in the morning than he has been. I was happy to see he was still in bed, because he needed the rest.

I stopped at two doses because he's been having diarrhea. I'm noticing tO'Day that the dark circles under his eyes are lightening up.

Ok good. Did he have diarrhea after the remedy?

Yes, his BMs got looser after the first dose, but I didn't recognize it as being related to the remedy until they got really loose after the second dose.

I'm wondering now if the diarrhea was a real illness. I got it myself a few days after my son. He is improved now, no more diarrhea that I know of. However, he is waking up really early in the morning (like 5:30am), even on the days he goes to bed late. I recall after his first dose of the remedy he slept later in the morning. Just wondering if we should wait awhile or try another dose.

It's been a reasonable pause between doses, so repeating again is fine.

Ok, sounds good, thanks.

Still having issues with the same problem...wetting his underwear on the way to the toilet. He is sleeping better, however, not waking up super early in the morning like he was before.

Any thoughts?

OK, so lately, Ethan has been waking up in the middle of the night and getting up and playing (not sure what time because he's quiet so as not to wake us). He usually comes back to bed around 3am and climbs in with me to warm up, since we keep the heat down low in the living room. Then he'll sleep till we all wake up around 6:30 or 7:30am. He ends up looking tired with dark circles and pale-ish face during the day, and has fallen asleep midday a few times, which is unusual for him (he doesn't usually takes naps and will protest and get very upset if we try to get him to take one). His appetite has been a little slow, which makes sense to me because I tend to not be as hungry if I am very tired. He spends a lot of time on the computer and iPad if we let him, kind of like I do when I'm really tired, just zoning out on the computer trying to get through the day until I can sleep again.
He's also been not wanting to sleep by himself, asking to sleep on the floor in our bedroom, says that when he sleeps by himself he gets itchy in his bed. I asked where he gets itchy, he said his tummy, back, sides and arms, but not feet and legs. He mentioned the itchy thing again yesterday, I can't recall what about, but saying if he had to do it, it would make his hand itchy. It seemed like it was more of a "I don't want to do that" because it didn't make any sense that it would make him itchy.
He's also been more teary about things that are a disappointment to him.
I gave him a dose of his Pulsatilla last night, doing 5 hits and a drop to the tongue since I forgot to dose him until he was already asleep. It didn't make a difference that I can tell, where before it was helping him sleep better.

He's still wetting his underwear, too.

I forgot I wanted to mention, that I read the Pulsatilla description on British Homeopathy online--

http://www.britishhomeopathic.org/bha-charity/how-we-can-hel...

--and it seemed like a good fit for him. Even talking about the child subconsciously resisting maturation--that caught my eye because he does seem to do that! He still wants me to dress him, and has no desire to learn new things relating to self-care or independence. I wonder if that is why potty training was such a trial for him, and still wetting his pants a bit even at almost 5 years old.

Ok I would repeat the remedy first, 3 doses, one each day. Then we can consider the 200c for him depending on what happens.

The other remedies that often need to be differentiated with Puls are Lycopodium, Baryta carb and Silicea.

Good to know. Thanks.

So I did do the three consecutive doses, and I'm not really seeing any difference that I can tell. He is still waking up in the middle of the night and getting up early as well. Seems more emotional, a bit more mouthy and defiant, bored in general, and more teary about upsets. At the same time, Daddy is gone right now, has been for about a week, and Christmas is right around the corner. So some of that could be contributing.
