Jaw Pain

Hi there,
I have terrible jaw pain on the left side, radiating up to my ear. My baby got a cold a couple of days ago and I was completely beside myself. I haven't been getting much sleep, and I think that this and the anxiety over him being sick has caused it. can anyone help with any remedies that may help this? It is a burning pain when I move my jaw. I should also add that I am breastfeeding.

Thank you

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You can try a dose of Belladonna 30c and wait
to see how this helps. 3 pills under the tongue. If it helps then do not take
another dose unless symptoms revert or they are at a plateau.

Have you given the baby a remedy for the cold? If the baby is not teething,
and you see a cold starting- if you catch it early you can give ferrum phos
cell salt 6x 3 times a day(dissolve a tablet in a tsp of water) If the cold
has been going for a bit, remedies are chosen on symptoms, mucous color
etc.

The cell salts are at whole foods ( hylands brand) near the remedies or
on Vitacost online.

Thank you! I will go out and buy it right now.
The baby started with a stomach bug and got treated by naet. Stomach flu and fever is gone but now he has had a cough (croup like) for a couple of days. I gave him spongia tosta and it seems to be getting better.
I take the ferrum phos because of the iron and breastfeed. Should I give him his own?
Thank you for your help!

Also, why only if he is not teething?
Thanks

Hi-

Do you mean Naet Therapy? I am very interested in that-
do you go to an acupuncturist or other practitioner or
do you do it yourself?

No on the ferrum for baby as he gets it thru your milk.

Kids when teething can get a a lot of symptoms of
colds, etc from the teething, so I wanted to be sure
his 'cold' was not due to teething as the cause.

Yes, Naet Therapy. It is amazing! I have just started doing it for both my kids, my husband and myself. It got rid of my baby's stomach bug and fever 5 minutes after the treatment.
We go to a practitioner. She also does homeopathy and a mixture of Chinese medicine.
I am very interested in homeopathy and will start homeopathy school next month, then I would also like to do the Naet training. It is such a good concept, especially for the children, because it can be administered through you (the parent) and they don't even really have to be a part of it.

That's what I thought for the ferrum. His cough is now turning from a croupy cough to more of a dry cough. I think I will only give him the spongia one more time and I think he will be good with the ferrum from there. He is 8 months. What do you think?

Yes I would give one more dose of the Spongia and then wait.
The Ferrum is just for the very start of colds, so you don't need
to give it and he is already getting it from you.

thanks for the feedback on the Naet, I have heard good things
on it.
