please answer the following questions...

- describe the sound of her coughing. sounds deep, a little croupy and barky

- describe the colour and consistency of the phlegm/discharge. no discharge lately. at the beginning weeks ago she had some mostly clear and stringy come up

- when is the suffering worst and when is it better? seems to be worse at night and better during the morning/afternoon. does cough randomly sometimes and when running around and over excitement

-what makes the cough worse and what makes it better? i think stuffy rooms with her head lying down makes it worse. open air and just staying calm seems to help. also drinking

-what's the colour of her tongue? looks almost normal red/pink but a little dotted white like a starwberry

- what is the most affected area? nose, ear, throat, chest etc. i think the chest and possibly throat

- how did it start 5 weeks back? how did she catch cold?

started with a cold, runny nose, cough, tired and a lil irritable. very low fever for maybe a day. came on over night. had been exposed to others with a cold

- does she like hot or cold environment? seems to be better in colder air

- what are her likes in food and drinks? she likes hot and cold. asks for juice and water when coughing sometimes. hasnt said no to any food

-can you describe her nature and how she behaves with other children, strangers and her family people. my daughters very outgoing with everyone, warms up well with strangers, she loves kids, shes also a lil smarty pants at her young age

Give her PHOSPHORUS 30C some 3 to 4 doses every 6 hours only for a single day. Wait for some one or two days and you may see the croupy cough changing its form. You will see more fluid phlegm coming out and the sound of coughing will also get better. This is the indication of cure. You can then just give one dose a day for 2 to 3 days more till she is fully cured.

its the end of the second day.. cough is a little more croupy and phleghmy, not sounding so deep. she had a runny nose all day and was sneezing snots bubbles. should I keep giving the phosphorus to her? is there something also that i can give her for the nose?

thanks

It seems phosphorus has produced a response. If the amount of phlegm has increased, it is a good sign.

It will take some time to cure but I guess the healing process has begun.

You may give infrequent doses, like one dose every 12 hours for another 2 to 3 days maximum. Stop the doses if you see her condition getting better.
