Thank you for your greetings in anticipation of my 84th Birthday which falls on October 19 when I complete my 84th year and start my 85th.
I was born on October 19 1929 in Negombo Ceylon, as Sri Lanka was known at that time.
The picture of the B'day cake was indeed a pleasant surprise and I do wonder how you photographed it especially since it had my name on it.
Did you bake it?
It is good to know that you remembered my Birthday as it is usual when one grows as old as I am today that Birthdays are usually forgotten, especially in the case of patients whom I have treated on many Homeopathic Forums since the early days of this Century, when Homeopathic Forums were first established.
You have invariably remembered it every year for about the last 5 years and I do thank you for doing so, as it is nice to know that there still are some grateful patients who appreciate my part in solving some of their medical problems, with my own concept of Homeopathy aka 'Joepathy'.
I know that both you and your husband are taking the same Arnica 30c in the Wet dose that I have taken for the last 18 years nightly, and I am living evidence of the great good that results from doing so, as I do not have the usual signs of old age when one is compelled to slow down, due to the aches and pains that attend the advancing years.
This is the reason why I have established my own website

to enable me to share my Joepathy with patients without the interference of other classical homeopaths who were wont to criticize my 'Joepathy' in the past when they discovered that my therapy CURED when theirs invariably did NOT. I was agreeably surprised to discover that my website attracts an average of 200 hits daily and it seems to be getting more popular by the day.
I have steadfastly refused to use the classical method of 'Treating the totality of the Symptoms the patient presents with a single remedy' and have proved that my Joepathy works in some incredible way to CURE the patient. I have used and prescribed the Wet dose method of prescribing a remedy and have ample proof that it is by far superior to the standard pellets which I, in common with other homeopaths, used and prescribed till I was converted to the Wet dose by Dr Luc de Schepper in 2005 who was with me in Sri Lanka, to treat the survivors of our Tsunami.

Oct 19th .. thanks for clarifying the date Joe. My baking skills are ok but I am awful at decorating a cake. We had company yesterday, so we celebrated your bday prematurely with a chocolate cake. The guy who came over also uses Arnica wet dose and is grateful for his sound sleep (yes word spreads and I have told many about your remedies.. Carol my friend is delighted with the decrease in her daughter's asthmatic attacks). I won't be surprised if you were sneezing yesterday because people in a far corner of the world we remembering you fondly. I am half way through writing an 'Ode to Joe'. Please check back on the 19th.

Thank you Simon, for your greetings on my 84th Birthday. As far as I am aware this is the first time that you, the owner of the most popular Homeopathic Forum in the world, sent Birthday greetings to a consultant on your Forum.
Looking back on the 11223+ posts I have made on the ABC since I joined it in 2003 shortly after you established it, it is nice to know that I do have a few patients like Cathy (Getting Beta) who included the photograph of the Birthday cake she baked in my honour. I had helped her and other members of her family may years ago to attain a better state of health than they would otherwise have enjoyed, had they been treated by a classical homeopath. I use a different approach which has been labelled by these classical types as 'This for That' therapy aka 'Joepathy' which term attracts over 2000 hits on Google, where many of my more interesting cases are listed.
I have always been original in my thinking and have shared my discoveries in the use of standard Homeopathic remedies for ailments not listed in the classical text books on my Website and on the ABC. I was the first to discover that Arnica helps to lower Blood Sugar in Diabetics and that Nat Phos 6x reduces weight by at least 1 kg per week. It is also the ultimate remedy for GERD aka Gastritis in both adults and babies. I am at the moment, helping many mothers whose babies suffer from reflux and projectile vomiting of milk to overcome this problem with Nat Phos 6x and there are many more firsts which I have been able to share with the world through your ABC Forum and my Website.

Thank you for a Brilliant piece of Poetry where you have excelled yourself and have earned not only my admiration, but the admiration of the other members of the ABC and through it, of the World of your singular and very original effort to remember me on my 84th Birthday.
I never thought that you would surprise me the way you did a few days ago with your photograph of the Birthday Cake which you baked in my honour and which I thought was very original indeed.

You did mention about your 'Ode to Joe' which I did not read till a short while ago. I am indeed humbled by your God given ability to weave the many remedies I have prescribed to members of the ABC and my Website, into your outstanding piece of Poetry 'Ode to Joe'.
I can see that you have made a detailed study of my therapy on the ABC and on my Website, to include them all into Poetry which unfortunately I am not good at. As you may be aware, many of these remedies are not listed for the diseases that I have prescribed them for, and constitute my own 'discoveries' which therefore qualify for their classification under the term 'Joepathy'.
Thank you for your very original effort and I hope that it will be read by other members of the ABC.
