for Kadwa: Honora's Hypothyroid, Part II

Patient ID: Sex: Female Age: 61

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?
I have been hypo-thyroid since about 1994. Low energy, and am now about 40 pounds overweight. No matter what I do I cannot lose weight.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
Eyelids are somewhat inflamed (red) and swollen. My eyelashes are very fine, thin and sparse. Hair no longer grows on my legs or arms.
The front of my throat has been inflamed (red) for many years.
The pores on my neck look like chicken skin, that is, they are individually swollen. They also exude a light beige-yellow creamy substance.
My pH level is always acid when measured on the little litmus papers.
I have to have my teeth cleaned every two months due to fast build-up of calculus from bacteria.
I've had carpal tunnel in both hands since second pregnancy in 1986.
The only reason I'm not freezing cold is because I'm taking 3 grains daily of NatureThroid for hypothyroid.
Otosclerosis in both ears. Due to Stepedectomies, I have wires instead of the 2 stapes bones but the infection is still in there.
I can feel it when Silicea goes to work in my middle ears but I don't know if it's getting rid of bacteria or trying to dislodge the wires.
Itchy scalp.
Wart on tip of r thumb. Causticum removed 1/3 of it, then stopped working.
White spots on arms and hands like little circles where the pigment is gone.
Small red flecks on my skin, not round but come in all shapes. May be Petechie? or something like that.
Hysterectomy about 10 years ago due to boggy, waterlogged uterus. Sar** coma in the tissue (not the bone or connective tissue).

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

I am completely embarrassed about my weight. My in-laws despise fat people such as me. I feel so mortified when people who haven't seen me in several years are shocked by my appearance. One asked 'What the hell happened to you?'
Also, my brain is quite foggy. Poor memory of things that have happened recently.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Too exhausted to even fight the battle any longer. I feel angry at times because everyone seems to think I eat a lot of food when, in reality, I am a moderate eater and I don't have much of an appetite.
Also, I've had chronic fatigue since 2006. No job. Feel like a free-loader. Have master's degree but can't use it.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
I believe I've been somewhat hypo-thyroid my entire life or else I was born a hydrogenoid consititution because I was chubby as a child and was only somewhat slender in my teens and twenties.
I was diagnosed hypothyroid around 1994, when I had been under a lot of stress for several years. We had an extremely difficult, irritable, hyperactive child and we gave him Prozac. But that made everything worse because he became manic.
I have weak adrenals. The least little stress used to cause a huge outpouring of adrenalin. Taking large doses of vitamin C lessened that problem.
My other son became depressed, then psychotic. That lasted 6 years. He recovered in 2006 (because I found real medical care for him and dumped the idiot psychiatrists). That's when my chronic fatigue and weight gain set in. I gained 25 pounds from the stress of worrying about my son. Here in the US, a psychiatric illness means a lifetime of misery because it is never cured, just poorly 'managed' with expensive, synthetic drugs.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
My low point of every day is from about 1 to 4 pm. I'm in a slump and must have some kind of carbohydrate. Not related to drinking caffeine because I only drink decaf. My adrenals can't handle caffeine.
I sleep about 9 hours a night. It's hard to get up in the morning because I don't look forward to the day.
This morning was a very rare exception: I got up easily and I think it's because I drank water with baking soda in it to alkalize my acidic body last evening. (Just my theory.)

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

Stress aggravates and I avoid people who are loud, crass, insensitive. Eating carbohydrates (healthy bread, or cheese and crackers, etc) makes me feel calmer, happier.
I can't eat anything containing sugar because it causes so much flatulence.
I can't drink regular coffee because it makes me shaky.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
Yes, if my children or grandchild are not well, it is extremely stressful for me. They're the most important thing in my life. Right now, they're all doing well but I know we all suffer from the Sycosis Miasm and it's only a matter of time before they begin to really suffer from it, even though I'm giving them all Medorrhinum. One of my sons has terrible cysts on his head and I struggle to make him understand that homeopathy is the only answer. I'm not a professional homeopath, just someone who understands how awesome it is.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
I live in a climate very much like London's: cold and damp.I really like the crispness (slight chill) but I feel so much better in the desert with that wonderful dry air.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
I'm extremely stable, not the least bit moody and, in fact, I can't stand being around moody people. I want everything to be steady. Can't stand arrogant, narcissistic people. I'm easily offended but do my best to always let it go - and I shouldn't. It's not easy for me to stand up for myself, but I'm slowly getting there - and I'm 61 years old.
I've slowly become quieter as I've matured. As a young girl, I was very outgoing and always had fun. Was very motivated. Now, I feel indifferent. Low confidence, not lazy, but no energy to look for a job. I sometimes have ideas for making things better by doing what I want to do, but the brain and body can't keep up.
I feel like every time I have stress in my life that it opens the door for a miasm to grow. I wonder if it's Psora. Whatever it is, it's mean and ugly.
So, my general mindset: mentally fatigued, unmotivated, bored, unhappy with the way my life has turned out, too tired to do much about it, trapped.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
No different. They're quite interesting to look at from inside the house.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
No. Can't wait to get it over with. Don't like being the center of attention.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
Sensitive to noise, music. If a store is playing jazz or rap music, I always leave and shop elsewhere.
Light often makes me squint.
Very sensitive to other people.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
No

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
I like my friends but I don't want to get to know them at a deep level. Like me, they are just human and, therefore, flawed. I prefer to just enjoy their company, not at an entirely superficial level, but not too deep either.
Family: very sorry I ever got married and had children. I love my children but I thought having a family would be wonderful. It isn't. It's just one stress or worry after another. My husband is not right for me. He's introverted, uncomfortable around people. Doesn't like to have anyone around. I think I'd still be outgoing if I had married someone else.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
Fears: the Miasms that are making my family so unhealthy.
I fear poverty, not having much to leave to my children. I fear running into people who haven't seen me for a while. I fear snakes and heights.
Repeated dreams: once or twice a year I dream I'm in a jet. Often, it doesn't get off the ground - it just taxis through towns and cities. In the last 2 years or so, the jet has flown 3 times (once along a river, once to London, once to Hawaii).

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
crave carbohydrates, cheese. I no longer crave milk but I love drinking it.
Averse to meat/fish because the idea of killing an animal and eating it is extremely repulsive to me. I'm a vegetarian. The idea of eating shellfish is especially repugnant because they are scavengers that eat human and animal waste products on the ocean floor.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Not much thirst unless I eat anything with canned tomato product such as spaghetti or pizza. Then I am extremely thirsty. I'm starting to think the acid tomatoes leach out the toxins (the BPA that lines the cans) and are poisoning me and everyone else.

14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
I used to have a scary, extreme hunger where it would suddenly be out of control and I had to eat whatever was nearby. Doctors here call it 'low blood sugar.' Fortunately, I never needed to eat a lot of food, just had to eat it immediately. The diet by Dr. Simeons ended that problem after just 2 or 3 injections of HCG.
Now I don't have much of an appetite. I think it's kind of low-normal.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
Seems to be canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, etc.
Allergic to kiwi's. Mouth becomes terribly inflamed.
Ice cream gives me a stomach ache. Mostly I don't like cold food and I have to be pretty desperate to eat it.
I rarely eat anything with sugar in it because it causes so much flatulence.
Chocolate acts like caffeine and if I eat it in the evening, I'll have insomnia.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?
My sweat is very weird: for over 30 years my body didn't perspire at all, not even underarms (or extremely little). Now I do perspire fairly normally. I've noticed recently that my head perspires a lot, also the neck area. Trunk and lower arms perspire somewhat.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
BM every day, in the morning. Very regular. Stool type is well formed.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
I think I've become a light sleeper now that I'm older. My husband's snoring caused me to go sleep in another room. Now he uses a machine for sleep apnea but it makes sounds that keep me awake so, again, I sleep elsewhere.
Posture of sleeping: For the past 5 years or so: cannot sleep on my left side because it makes my heart feel overloaded with water or blood or whatever. That problem is improving. I can sleep on that side for about 10 minutes now. Maybe taking the Nat Mur 1m helped, I don't know.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
Yes, although I'm rather slow to orgasm.

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?
I think I'm more aware.
Most people just want quick and easy answers. I know from being older and wiser that that is the wrong path to take.
I think most people are so self-centered that they are unaware and uncaring about anyone else. I'm not like that. I don't want anyone to suffer, except the few people who have intentionally hurt me. I think what sets me apart is that I like everyone unless and until they show me a reason to not like them.
Also, I'm very open-minded and I decide for myself if something is good or bad, correct or incorrect, e.g. homeopathy. I don't care if a thousand 'experts' claim homeopathy is impossible. I figure things out for myself. A dozen psychiatrists told me my son would be 'mentally ill for life' and I hope I showed them what idiots they are because he was truly cured with real medical care, something psychiatrists have no clue how to use. They are hurting so many millions of people, it's very sad.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
I've taken Synthroid, T-3 (Cytomel), Armour, NatureThroid and Wilson's Timed-Release T-3 Protocol. This protocol forced me into adrenal crisis where I became suicidal, then homicidal. Fortunately, my brain was completely muddled and I couldn't get off the couch so I couldn't hurt anyone.
I've also taken iodine, iodide, selenium, manganese, molybdenum, dessicated thyroid.
Kadwa, in my previous thread, you had me take Nat Mur 1M which I did. Maybe that's why my heart is better, I don't know.
I've taken too many homeopathic medicines to even list them here.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
My mother had lots of freckles, skin tags, brown spots on her skin. (It had to be the Sycosis miasm). Hydrogenoid type of body.
She was so hyperactive that she was placed in a mental hospital when she was about 12 and had nervous breakdowns throughout her entire life. Frequently had muddled thinking and poor judgement but was also very intelligent. She died of lung C*** (not allowed to say the C-word here on the forum) after a lifetime of dreading dying from drowning. Her death was very much the same thing because her lungs were filled with water.
Her father died of stomach c*****.
Her mother had a nervous breakdown and died from stress.
Her sister was born with Cerebral Palsy and committed suicide.
My father died of heart disease. He was a terrible human being who was narcissistic and hot tempered. He had at least 4 families, with at least 7 children, probably a lot more than that.
We clearly have C-word Miasm, Sycosis (lots of cysts, moles, skin tags) and possibly Syphilis Miasms and Tubercular Miasm and Lyme Disease.
Our adrenal problems seems to be caused by Lyme Disease. (Aurum Arsenicosum is clearing up the white spots on our fingernails which seem to be caused by Lyme.)
We have 4 generations where one child is born chubby, the other thin.
Three generations of hypothyroid.
I had pneumonia after 2 years of stress. Since then, I caught colds every year until I started taking large doses of vitamin C.
Both of my hands are somewhat numb from pregnancy in 1986. Surgery on right hand didn't help.
Both hands are puffy much of the time. Sometimes I cannot make a fist.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
I'm 5'2', 167 pounds. Graying brown hair, slightly olive skin, hazel eyes. Chubby, to say the least (I HATE my appearance!)

24. (ONLY FOR FEMALES)

Please answer the following questions:
(Please give details of your past menstruation if you have attained menopause.)
- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last?
Hysterectomy about 10 years ago. Before that, periods were very regular, lasted a week or so.
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods?
Yes, cramping.
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive?
I think it varied: sometimes scanty, or normal, often excessive.
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery?
Bright red.
- Do you notice any clots in the flow?
Yes

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Kadwa, I forgot to mention that I also have very low cortisol so I'm taking hydrocortisone, 20 mg daily. It's not low enough to be Addison's Disease.
Thank you for your time!

Please take three doses of Calcarea Carb 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you, Kadwa!

The stores here don't sell remedies in the 200c strength so I'll order some. So it may be a month or two before I can report back to you.

As long as I'm ordering the 200c, should I order the Calc Carb 1M while I'm at it in case the 200c isn't strong enough?

Your help is so appreciated -
Warm regards,
Honora

Thank you, Kadwa.

I went to see a homeopath last year and she prescribed Aurum 1M for me. I don't think it did anything.

So should I still buy the Aurum 200c?

Also, I'm sorry to confuse things but I looked through my notes and I see that I've also taken Calc Carb 10M. I wasn't very careful about avoiding garlic/onion or coffee at the time so maybe that's why it didn't seem to solve my problem.

Sorry about being so incomplete about the remedies I've taken. As I said, I've taken so many the last couple of years.

Best,
Honora

Honora,

if you want to get remedies and think you have to
wait a long time- you don't. Click my name and
see my email and I can explain if you want.

In that case you should take Sepia 200 as above and see how that affects in 15 days.

kadwa last decade
Not sure kadwa if you missed part of the form where patient
is taking Aurum Arsenicum for white spots on fingernails bc
of Lyme disease that perhaps her family all seems to have.-seems to be
taking Silicea for ear infection ..
And that Medhorrinhum might be being taken also-

'we all suffer from the sycosis miasm- I'm giving them all medhorrinhum'

'Otosclerosis in both ears- infections still in there. I can feel it when Silicea goes
to work..'

'Our adrenal problems seems to be caused by Lyme disease ( aurum arsenicum seems
to be clearing up the white spots on our fingernails.')

I think that some things need to be sorted out so
that remedies do not conflict and cause even more issues.

Thank you, Kadwa. I've stopped all remedies and will order Sepia 200. Should I take 3 doses of it (2 doses on the first day, then the 3rd dose on the second day)?

All I'm taking is Dr. Schuessler';s Cell Salts which, as I understand, are biochemic, not homeopathic.

Your advice is much appreciated.

Honora last decade
You rightly understood the dosing. Please don't take tissue salts for two days when you take Sepia.

kadwa last decade
Ok, I'll stop the cell salts while doing the Sepia treatment.

Thank you!
