Chemotherapy induced hot flushes
Hi, my sister is undergoing chemotherapy for Stage 2 Her2 positive breast C. She is experiencing peri-menopause as a result of the chemotherapy and having hot flushes. She has 1-2 during the day and more during the evening and night time having to throw the covers off during the night because of the hot flush and then waking up cold and needing to go to the toilet during the night. Other symptoms from the chemo include poor memory retention, fluid retention immediately post-chemo which reduces after about 8 days. Mainly looking for a remedy for her to reduce the effects of the hot flushes. When she does have one I wet a cold flannel and put her on her forehead to cool her down.Other than the obvious effects of chemo she is still functioning well and going to work each day although is very exhausted at the end of the day and can't do much. She also mentally can't cope with too many things at once at present.
Thanks

Hi pink orchid,
Just want you to have this information for your sister- in case
she wants to do other treatment after chemo.
Go to pbhrfindia.org and see the clinic of the Banerji drs.
who specialize in ca-cer treatment using homeopathy like
allopathy. They have over 10,000 cases in their database
and now are working with the biggest USA ca-cer center called
MD Anderson Center.
You can do treatment with them online and they monitor
your progress and send the medicines. You can be under
allopathic treatments at the same time. I think it is a
very good resource for you and they are very well
respected Drs.
