Like Peach, walnut has another outer shell which is always peeled off and discarded before it comes to market.

This tree is found only on the mountains. But Juglan's bark is available in Delhi. Ask for Dandasaa or Akhroot-ki-chal. All grocery stores carry it. Sold on the road around Jama Masjid area.
Soak the bark in some water and apply that water on skin. Drink a tsp of that water everyday.

the water to b drunk daily till the dermatitis ends?
right now there are no signs of dermatitis (so can it be given now to prevent future such condition) but often(4/5 times a year) this happens, behind the knee, elbows, underarms. mild steroidal cream is prescribed.

Take it only when problem comes, and stop when problem subsides. You can put some bark in oil and let it stay. You can use that oil instead of steroid ointment. It gives relief.

Quick question, if the walnut bark juice is good to cleanse your liver and spleen can or should this be taken once in a while to detox these organs?. I have taken different detoxifying cleanses herbally and once they were finished I noticed no difference. After a couple of sips of juice from walnut bark I noticed a change in my complexion as the few breakouts I may get are not severe at all as they used to be.

Juglans is a great remedy for liver. It works on the skin ailments that rose due to liver problems and also the symptoms that occur on the onset of change of season.
Procedure is same, soak a small piece of bark (2grams or just a pinchful) in the water at night, drink that water in the morning.

kuldeep, we have nothing like this in this area, but may be interested on finding it if it would help Hepatitis C. Which my sister has, disease of the liver. She has recently been very swollen in abdomen and legs. Doc's have her on water pills. Yucky stuff in my opinion. What do you think, would it be helpful, I know she does complain of dry itchy patches sometimes. Swelling of the eyelids just recently also. Love the post on the Juglan Tree.

Dear Upnorth, where exactly you are? Juglan trees grow all over USA and Canada and in Himalayas. These are either walnut or butternut trees. You can try the bark or the outer shell of the fruit, that would be available in October in northern hemishpere.
I have concluded -- following receipe treats all kinds of hepatitis.
Chelidonium 6c in the morning and same in 200c at night as Mr. Sajjadakram said.
Lycopodium 6c at noon.
Selenium 30 once a day.
And you can easily find some biochemic that contains all three -- Silicea 6X + Natrum Phosphate 6X and Natrum Sulphate 6x. Usually it it No. 25 Biochemic but better read the lable. Two pills thrice a day.
Following above is the aggressive treatment of all kind of hepatitis and it really works wonder. So far never failed me in any case.

Use the green bark, not the dried up outer bark. Or with a hammer, break upon the outer dry bark and get some moist chips from the inner bark.
