Miscarriage: need remedy to help pass fetus

My friend is pregnant and just found out that the baby has no heart beat and hasn't grown in weeks.

Her first ultrasound was around 6 weeks and it showed a heart beat. She just had another ultrasound to check on the baby and it did not have a heart beat and was measuring 7 weeks and 5 days, but she is supposed to be 10 weeks 4 days.

Her doctor will be talking to her tomorrow to tell her what he wants her to do and I'm sure he will suggest a D+C. I don't think she should have one done and have heard many bad things about them. She wants to be able to get pregnant soon after and with a D+C I know you can't.

My sister-in-law went through the same thing at the same time in pregnancy and I prescribed pulstilla and silicea for her and she passed the fetus the next week, but I can't remember what doses I told her to take.

I have Pulsatilla 6x and Silicea 6x on hand right now. Just wanted to make sure these are still the remedies she should use and ask how many pills and how many times a day she should take them and for how long?

Also, what remedy will get her uterus healthy and ready for a healthy pregnancy again?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If the Doctor listened and looked at an ultrasound, and there was no heartbeat then most likely evaluation is correct.

If the miscarriage is true, it is always best for nature to take its course. Your body will misscarry naturally in its own time, whichmay be few days or a few weeks. This will give mother the time to bond a little bit longer with the baby and cope with his or her passing. Which a surgery like D&C, would not allow you to do, yes D&C has risks with it.

Blessings & Prayers,
Nikkie.

I understand that our bodies know what to do and it is best to let nature take it's course, but if the fetus is measuring weeks behind what she's supposed to be measuring and she's emotionally upset that it's still there and wants it gone then I think some intervention would help and if it can be Homeopathic and not surgical then why not help her?

I have posted many threads on the forum and it seems that mine are always dismissed as not so severe of a problem and someone with a headache gets every person on here to prescribe a remedy for them. Which leads me to prescribe on my own like I did before.

I prescribed pulsatilla 6x (4 tablets) 2 times a day for 5 days and silicea 6x (4 tablets) 3 times a day for 7 days.

I am in habit of picking up missed threads on this forum :).

After stillbirth, some mothers still want to hold their deceased baby. Some research suggests that holding the deceased baby can be therapeutic to the mother in coping with the grief of loss, but other study findings show a link to clinical depression.

Not choosing to hold the deceased baby can also lead to feelings of guilt later. Stillbirths can be so unexpected and parents may not know what to do. Holding the deceased baby is a choice and either way, feelings of loss and grief will follow as part of the human experience. The most important part is to seek help with grief in accepting and overcoming the loss. My prayers are for all the mothers going thru these phase. God give them the strength to overcome this movement.

After a miscarriage when a medical assessment is done a mother can choose to have expectant management, if she decides to let nature take its course with the remaining foetal tissue.

Medications are also available, to soften the cervix and cause contractions to expel the rest of the foetal tissue. Surgery is also other option.
