hi,
Next month im going to be 18 years old. but my height is really short. Right now im using calcarea phosphorica and Baryta Carbonica for height growth. I used these two medicines for about 25 days and then stopped because they got finished. I need to know if these two medicines are ok to use for increase in height growth. If they're ok to use please send me mail or contact me so i could order these two medicines and conttinue use it.If these two medicines are not alright to increase in height please tell me any other medicines that helpls to grow height. thanx |

Some years ago they used growth hormone extracted from the pituitary glands of the deceased.
This worked!!! BUT !!! at the age of about 25 these people all died of CJD.
Do you want to live for more than another 7 years?.
Your height is a part of your genetic heritage.
The reason most people want to be taller is that they feel insecure among people taller than they are.
It may sound stupid but most people are valued for their character-- forget your height and work on developing your character.

Stretch, stretch - thats the best you can do - BTW, you still have a couple of years of growth, but unlikely that you will be very much taller than you are now. Have only seen the use of Baryta Carb in such cases in children, so don't know if it will help you.

Dear Wazeema826,
Got a few things you should know:
1. Boys do not stop growing at 18; in fact they can continue to grow until 21 and in rare cases till 25.
2. Homoeopathy can only help you if you have the genes and other factors to help you reach a taller height.
3. Sometimes you may have enzymes and/or genes that result in your height.
Hope it helps you a bit, and stretching does not help at all, it just causes your joints to wear out faster.
Sorry, but don't give up in hope. I remember in high school a classmate of mine was 5'3" tall and I bumped into him at my residency and he was 5'9 and that was 4 years after.
So it does happen :-)
P.S. stay away from hormones cause if you artificially inflate your growth your BMD (bone mineral density)will end up lower in your early 30 resulting in severe joint problems, which is no good.

My dadz height is not dat tall or not too short but my momz height iz kind of short.Rest of all my dadz brtohers are tall. my younger brother iz 15 and taller than me. iz there any possible way or remedy that would help me to increase height? | | |

Dear Wazeema826,
There is not a remedy I have seen that helps people grow taller.
You might be following your mother side of the family and as for your younger brother being taller... that is not unusual I'm a younger brother myself and I'm 4.5 inches taller then my brother who is also 3 years older to me and when I was 15 I was taller them him from then on.
Sorry for the bad news... but remember you could be the lucky one that has a growth spurt in the next few years, cross your fingers and hope for your father side to kick in.
The best example I can give you is my father is Danish and he is 6'1", mother is East Indian so she is 5'2" if not 5'1". I am 5'8" tall so I didn't even get close to my father, I got my mother's genes in the height area, where my shoulders are quite broad and my waste quite slim; which how my father was at the same time as my age. Hope it helps you in understanding gene's a little bit more. | | |

Here in India doctors do give medicines to increase height. My niece was given something by my late doctor and she grew upto 5'4". Her mother is less than 5' and father is 6'. My friends were also given something and both of them are over 5'8". taller than their fater too. So a proper homeopath can give a medicine to grow taller. But there is a cut off date too. Must be less than 21 if I am not wrong. Puberty is best. So you may visit a good homeopath in your area with this and he should be able to help you. | | |

I would not like to take the risk. There are 2-3 medicines and i know the name of one only. But in the newspapers I have noticed a well known Doctor give advice in this context. I dont know if his medicine has worked. Do you live in India? If so i can give you the address and phone no of this homeopath and you can contact him directly. | | |

actually if your growth plates are still opened(they might be open in some case up to late 20's) you should look into ways to increase your growth hormones production, they can effective help you grow taller, according to this website hgh123*c o m you can increase your growth hormones level either naturally or articially...my advice is stick to the natural way. | | |

An easy way to increase height is rise early, drink 1/2 litre of water and visualise that you will grow this much height(say 2cm) in this month and jump, jump to the highest point u can jump. Daily try to raise the bar by jumping a little bit higher after taking the water. (start with 3 jumps a day and can go till 10 to make it uniform). |
