| My husband, 33 yrs has bhroncitis for last 15 yrs(since 1990). It started due to the pollen allergy in India. He has about 2-3 asthma attacks during first 5-6 yrs and always took the homepathic treatment except once, when he had to go the hospital. Then he moved to USA(1998) and after moving here he was not on any kind of medicine for 2 yrs but did okay. Then in 2000 he had sever cough and doctor said you have bronchitis and gave him, antibiotics and Flovent inhaler(110) to take 2 puffs daily. In 2002 had once severe bronchitis and he was also given albuterol inhaler with antibiotics at that time. In between when he went to India there also he had chest congestion and bronchitis and took 20 days homeopathic treatment. In 2003 and 2004 he again had asthma attacks and everytime the same treatment, either antibiotic or steroids course with regular inhaler. In 2004 december he had once severe chest pain and was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and was again on steroids. But in 2005 he just had problem once in Feb and after that he has been okay. He used to take the combination Homeopathic medicine for 10-12 days that we got from India whenver he felt cold, flu or allergy symptons. For last about 6 months he is not taking any inhaler but has been doing some exercises in the morning and feeling better. I wanted to know, if someone can suggest me the course of homeopathic treatment he can take, so that he doesn't get the asthma attack in future and do not have to start on inhaler again. He is medium size, loves eating spicy food, catches cold very easily, very strong and determined by heart but lots of time indecisive, very very caring and concerned about others, likes to sleep with fan on, has no fears. |

Steroids are bad news , as are antibiotics. It is best to use homeopathy to deal with the problems,
THere are two remedies that may be of use
Ferrum Phos
and
Carbo Veg
Suggest you get both in 6x potency and use the Fer Phos twice a day for a week -- then stop and judge the results after a further 2 weeks[ no further medication]
Then a month after you have used the Fer Phos start the Carbo veg twice a day for a week -- stop and judge results after a further 2 weeks.
Take notes of the effects of each remedy and judge which is the most effective. | | |

Thanks for your reply walkin. I just wanted to ask about Ars Alb also. As my husband has taken this a lot of times before, should he also try that after his is done with Ferrum Phos and Carbo Veg. Please advise. |
