Any spiritous alcohol is fine. Without it the remedy will lose its effectiveness quickly, and it is not predictable how quickly.
It is important to hit the same bottle each time, not be making new bottles. So the alcohol makes it important to preserve the remedy, so you can continue dosing from the same bottle and water.

thanks | | |

Hi david, I have given 4 doses last week. She has now done 1 week at daycare, this is her second week. The carers say she is getting used to her day in care and doing well, however when I leave her she cries (not like normal, very panicky) goes red, starts to shake. She tries so hard to hold onto me, buries into me. after about 10 mins they say she settles down. When I pick her up in the afternoon, as soon as she sees me, she starts to cry and hold her arms out.
This is extended into her home life over the weekend, whereby family or friends who hold her, she goes into panic mode and thinks I am going to leave her. | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

I can see that we did not discuss this, which is something I should have made clear earlier, but she was only meant to have one dose.
4 doses is a fairly serious overdose. This means that her current state may be because of the extra doses. We will need to wait for it to die down.
On the positive, the fact that she has aggravated does suggest the remedy will help her, once that aggravation wears off.

Hi, Just wanted to say 2 weeks in, no change. What has prompted me to post again is the last 2 nights have been bad in that she sleeps until about 11pm, then wakes every few hours crying. the only way to settle is to hold her and carry her around the house a few times, or lie her on my chest.

So then there was a change in her sleep?
| Re: Seperation Anxiety 1 year old | From AllyJo [Log on to view profile] | on 2012-01-16 |
She has always had a problem with sleeping, I tried to relay this in the initial posts. Never really sleeps soundly, the last 2 nights have just been noticeably bad. When she started daycare, over the last 2 weeks she has slept and settled a little better, i guessed through exhaustion for such big days.
I can try to get some footage tonight or tomorrow night and share it on youtube with you.

last night was not as bad, she slept quite well. There was some nappy rash yesterday so maybe it was teething trouble.

There seems to still be some to and fro with the symptoms, so I think it is prudent to keep watching for a little longer.
It is possible that the change in her sleep had to do with the remedy rather than external events. Watching a little longer will show us what is going on as we see the way her pattern has changed or is changing.

3 weeks in, no change | | |
| Re: Seperation Anxiety 1 year old | From brisbanehomoeopath [Log on to view profile] | on 2012-01-30 |
Last report was she had slept quite well. Now you say there is no change. What happened between the 16th and the 30th?
| Re: Seperation Anxiety 1 year old | From AllyJo [Log on to view profile] | on 2012-01-31 |
Sleep is up and down. Lately She sleeps well from around 7.30 to midnight, then tosses and turns for hours. With the 'no change' I was more thinking about how I cannot leave her line of sight without her crying. I should have clarified, apologies.
thanks | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

Ok it is important that this assessment is done properly. Since I cannot see her myself, cannot judge the response in any way except through you, it is vital that your report is meticulous.
List all the problems you mentioned at the beginning. Next to each one write Better, Worse, Same or New. If Better or Worse also write a percentage to show how much.
You may need to be more precise with the exact improvement or worsening. |
