Its been a week, Dr David. No negative reactions, Still smell though, that is causing depression.

Re: Body Odor/Emotional issuesFrom brisbanehomoeopath [Log on to view profile] on 2011-12-20
Ok first thing we need to do is eliminate the remedy as ther right one. The best way to do that is to repeat the dose.

As there was no apparent aggravation, I would like you to place that single drop on your tongue instead of into water, but make sure you hit the bottle twice.

Ok it has been awhile since that second dose, and with no improvement I will need to move to a second choice.

I will have a suggestion for you later today.

Ok so I have gone back through everything.

There are a number of remedies that come up for the specific symptom of 'Perspiration, odour, of urine'. However, to cure, any remedy selected must address the primary issue, the big picture so to speak.

First step is always to determine what Kingdom the remedy needs to come from. This will match the basic duality or polarity of conflict in the case.

What is the basic problem here? Your body stinks, and people harass you for it. You are made an outcast because of it. You are judged, laughed at, condemned for it. You are abused by others.

There is a strong theme of 'me versus them' in your case. This strongly suggests that the Animal Kingdom is where I need to start looking. Animal remedies often feel victimized by others and desire violent revenge (even if they never actually do it).

If I pursue the idea of an animal remedy, the next step is to understand how you react to this abuse, how you survive it.

I have an idea at this point, but I need a little more information.

What is your own feeling/reaction/emotional response to smelling like you do?

I have feelings of worthlessness, mainly embarrassment and frustration. Thank you Dr David.

What do you think about smelling like urine though? Can you smell that yourself? What is it like to have an odour like that? When you smell it, what initial reaction does it provoke?

Re: Body Odor/Emotional issuesFrom sonjaxfactor [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-11
Thanks for more specific questions.

1)What do you think about smelling like urine though?

Irritated!

2)Can you smell that yourself?

Yes, I can smell myself. And I tell myself it's going to be a very long day.

3) What is it like to have an odor like that?

Its horrible, embarrassing, lonely and depressing.

4) When you smell it, what initial reaction does it provoke?

I feel embarrassed and hopeless. I tell myself what is wrong with me. Especially after trying and doing everything not to smell

Re: Body Odor/Emotional issuesFrom brisbanehomoeopath [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-11
Hmmm ok that isn't quite what I expected.

When you do give answers, try not to give one word answers. My ability to prescribe is based directly on the amount of description you give. When you resort to just one word it restricts me quite a lot.

Describe 'irritated'.

Describe 'going to be a long day'

Describe more on 'what is wrong with me'

The miasm in the case seems clearer to me, which is good. Trying to nail that underlying sensation is harder though.

It doesn't matter if you repeat yourself. Repeating yourself is fine, although I am always alert to any extra information that comes through.

Re: Body Odor/Emotional issuesFrom sonjaxfactor [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-11
1)Describe 'irritated'.

Very, very imapatient about how everything I have tried has not worked when it comes to my body odor.

Loney because I always hear "take a bath "! Why will I go to work intentionally smelling? Who wants to be an outcast? And this hurts more coming from a patient because then I know it's true that I smell.

Harrassed because my work environemt is a place of incessant gossip and people I have never seen or met say, "thats her", "
"she does smell like pee".

2)Describe 'going to be a
long day'

I know that once I enter my work place that all I'm going to hear are co workers and patients saying that I smell like pee all day long. And I carry the insults becuase Im very sensitive to my odor.

3)Describe more on 'what is wrong with me'

I ask myself, biologically, chemically, what is going on in my body. It has to be an internal problem because I done everything externally not to stink,
bathe, use deoderant, etc.

I have been tested for diabetes, thyroid problems, testerone levels. All negative.

So is it insults you are sensitive to? Is the issue that people insult you, that is what is upsetting you the most? Describe the feeling of being insulted.

So do you have a feeling that something is wrong with you? Describe more on 'there is an internal problem'.

When someone is an outcast, describe the kind of life they have, the problems that come from being an outcast.

Re: Body Odor/Emotional issuesFrom sonjaxfactor [Log on to view profile] on 2012-01-12
Lol! Dr David you are asking me to do the toughest things. To interpret my emotions. I don't have the social skills to do that.

1)So is it insults you are sensitive to? Is the issue that people insult you, that is what is upsetting you the most? Describe the feeling of being insulted.

See, you must remember? I have had this odor most of my life. The lack of respect kills me. I am treated in a horrible manner. It makes me feel less than a person. I am treated in a horrible manner. From management to the patients. You see Dr. David, after trying everything and still not getting an answer, along with the insults makes be feel like a zombie. I just go through life going through the motions hoping not to be harassed.

What is the feeling like to be insulted?

I feel powerless, unjustly forced into a degrading position.

2)So do you have a feeling that something is wrong with you? Describe more on 'there is an internal problem'.

Well, I have done everything to externally not smell? Soaps, vitamins...etc. But still stink. So I am assuming that it has to be some chemical changes that have or had gone on in my body that cause it to smell horribly.

3)When someone is an outcast, describe the kind of life they have, the problems that come from being an outcast.

I am usually the victim of every negative stereotype and rumor. People hate me for no reason. I don't have a social life. I have no friends at all.

That's alright. You have shown patience too in answering all my questions which I appreciate.

Btw, I am not actually a doctor. My qualifications don't allow me to use that title. You can just call me David :)
